Honoka Beach

Mori dosen't make eye contact as he flinches at the memory.
"It was external...so when the object is damaged it also harms the user. I was scarred all over my body but...something was wrong with the katana, it seemed to have somethign stuck inside it...I healed over time but after I was injured I blacked out."

Sani's head shakes slowly, "oh Mori.. I'm sorry.. So sorry you went through so much.. Children should never be exposed to violence.." she whispers, in a tone he could hear. Gently she touches his cheek. Her dark eyes on his, but in a gentle manor.

Mori flicked his ears and moved his face away from her hand.
"When I woke up the man was gone and my father was there."
He wouldn't tell her where the man had gone or what happened to him since it still bugged him even though its been a few years.

"did your father do anything..?" she asks softly, dropping her hands into her lap. She looks at him with a small amount of impassion, she was just getting to her emotional side, she didn't know how to let it all out yet.

Mori blinked and rubbed his ear again as he furrowed his eyebrows and narrrow his eyes at the sand. He cleaned up the mess, Mori thoughtfully then released his ear with a sigh.
"He got me out of there and helped out me and my brother both finacially and health related. My brother, Asahi dosen't know about what happened."

"why didn't you tell him..?" she questions, but keeps it gentle. She didn't want to push him into answer. She went quiet after that. Just simply tracing a circle in the sand. Noticing he was looking towards the sand she drew a smile, with a stick figure eating a carrot

Mori smirked at the figure and twitched his ears.
"And tell him what? My life is now on hinges thanks to an evil scientist because he bound me to some katana. I can't let him worry about him any more than he already does."

"but he loves you" she says like that was the answer to everything. She taps her lip with her index finger. She had done the same thing with her brother, keeping things from him, and she had long since regretted it.

Mori twitches his ears and stands up.
"Yes, but sometimes its better to keep what needs to be quiet, quiet."

She sighs, "you're right" she shakes her head slowly, tracing a turtle on the sand. She pokes the middle of the turtle she had draw giving it a smile.

Mori slips his hands into his pockets and watches her silently.

"come on kitty cat, why don't you show me what you can draw" she elbows him lightly, drawing a cat with large eyes and a huge tail. She smiles, trying to lighten the heavy mood

Mori looks down to her and sits on his knees beside her and takes the stick and begins to draw, having been sketching and drawing pretty much his whole life. He glanced to Sani then drew her from his point of view where she sat.

Sani watches hik draw then points to each picture, trying to guess what they were. "this one is little you.. Right?" she points to one, then another "and this is you, your brother and your adoptive father?" she smiles at him, enjoying herself.She hoped he wouldnt get annoyed by her little guessing game.

Mori put the stick down and looked over his drawing of his family with him reading a book in the background while his father and brother fight yet again, Unknown with a calm smirk and Asahi clearly ticked off.
"Heh, yeah."
He begins to draw Sani and he tilts his head slightly to glance at her and see if she could guess it or not.

Sani looks at the new picture he was drawing, her finger tapped her lip slowly as she thought. "this is.... A girl.." she put more thought into it and got nothing. So much for her decisive nature. She was going to guess an old friend, or someone special but she hadn't heard him speak of anyone like that. Her head tilts, casting her white hair over her eyes.

Mori hit her head lightly and sighed. Wow, and she was holding weapons on a battlefield. Let's hope she won't kill any of her own allies on accident...
"It's you, Nimrod."

Sani sweatdropped, her brown eyes recasting upon the drawing. "I look like a bitch, in sand" she snickers a little, kind of making fun of herself. She gently pushes on his shoulder, "and don't call me a nimrod!" she laughs and pushes him over, unable to help herself

"Don't insult my drawing!"
Mori pushes her when she tries to push him and he grins at her teasingly.
"Not my fault if the Nimrod can't recongnize herself."

"not my fault!" she replies, in a teasing manor. Her tongue sticking out at him. She then laughs again, "its a good drawing though.." she compliments, sliding her eyes to the side to give a sly look

Mori nods and looks over the drawings then smirks at her sly look and waves the stick over the drawings that they made in the sand.
"Which goes to show how I'm a better artist than you, Nimrod~"

She smirks, moving to push him again. "you've just got creativity! Not artistry" she teases, her dark eyes soft,

Mori pushes back, sticking his tongue out at her.
''Well, whatever it it. i got more than you."

"MOre creativeness? yes. Artistry? no." She sticks her tongue out at him in a mocking fashion, teasing him. When he pushes her, she in turn moves her fingers to grip onto his hand pulling him with.

Mori pulls on her to keep still and keep his balance, chuckling in amusement.
"What? Are you insulting my artistry? Because I have plenty more than you!"

"If you consider me telling you, you have none then yes I am" she teases, plea ing in to poke his chest. She laughs as she does.
