The Old Church

Just around dawn, then the warmth of the sun rays melt through the clouds and caress the warmness of the sun down upon the slumbering city of Miyagi, when soon the beings that dwelled in their slumber will soon rise and do their morning routine as they have done for everyday of their lives. Yet it wasn't that time just yet.
The sun rays hits the uncolor condinate, of browns, greys, ash black and white cobbles, The streetlights turn off by the correct time as always, just in time for the glow warmth to cast among shadow of a figure against the cobbles.

This long daunting shadow was owned by only a five foot and five inches high being, the sex was easily classified as male and also appeared to be around the age of Fifthteen. His Boy was pale, yet held some child like features even passionless of emotions. Yet oddly enough he was still-well at least he looked like a child still Physically. The grey hair seemed to be neatly pulled back away from his face slightly, yet somehow it still looked what most people would say 'bed hair' or 'Scruffy'. A blue crystal clear eye stared at the warmth's of the sun rising as he leisurely walked closer to his destination, even then the being looked different to his usual attires normally it was victorian style but of today he wore Black shiney shoes, which have meet crumpled up bottoms of slim black jeans, which clashed against his white shirt, which seems to have hold no speck of dirt at all, a crushd-white then meet it''s partner a black blazer unbuttoned which has no visible pockets on it at all.

This boy was indeed heading to the church direction, not many people now a days went to church, many multicultural society live together now, besides it wasn't even a sunday, in fact it is the following day a monday.

It didn't take long walking to the old church which used to be the hearts of the village along time ago. In fact he knew the only person who was in the church at the moment was the vicar of the church, Reverend Joseph. The boy's eye- yes eye, unfortunately the boy was wearing a black eyepatch clearly visible of his right eye for the world to see.- At the building what brought warmness to his heart, the place where he could feel close to heaven close to his mother. The Old Church.
He walks to the old wooden double doors, with a quicker pass eager to get in the church. Yet as he walks the double doors open to reveal a wrinkled old vicar, too old for wears, truly this man shouldn't be working anymore, yet he kindly smiled at the sight of the boy, welcoming anyone who came into the humble place of god.

On Greeting the boy bowed to the old man in deep respect, which caused the man too laugh in good nature and patted the boy's back to enter the humble dominion. The boys steps had slowed down since he had entered the wooden floor, seem to of seen better days yet it was still good enough to walk on, the newest thing was the pew, which were put in about five years ago it would of seem, even though the pray pillows were still practically new to cause of the look old folk and their skills of knitting.

The boy sat in the third pew from the front of the left and tilts his head up and stares at the face of the angel what was painted just above the large glass widow infront of him. By this time the vicar had gone already, trusting the young boy who has come here for months now to look after the church in his absence as he went off to fetch some bread for todays lonely survive.

Yet the boy, actually stayed where he wad just staring up at the frozen flying angel.

Sakuda wasn't the type to visit churches, but her curiosity of the place was growing. Sakuda thought it was the only place she hadn't been. Sakuda was wearing respective attire for the place, which consisted of a fancy silky shirt the color of midnight, which was laced together in the front with leather string. Her leather boots went to her knees, though the end was covered by her skirt that was long in the back to her ankles, and to her knees up front. Ruffles adorned the dark blue skirt, making her look like she was walking around water. Her long black hair was done in tons of curls, framing her pale face. Though all of this outstanding fanciness for the young woman was incomplete, for she wore no makeup. Sakuda paused on the outside of the church, humming a soft melody while she admired the handiwork of the structure.

Phantom couldn't help but turn his head in a quick snap, towards the sound from coming outside. What being was ludicrous to be hear at this time of the morning, then again he corrected himself in his mind that the vicar and him are awake, Yet the Phantom always had problem's sleeping of lately. He didn't voice them to anyone who was willing to listen he voiced them to the beings that the kept close to his oddly balmy.

The Angel rose up from his pew, from where he was sitting and walked to the end of it and stood in the centre of the aisle, the vicar never shuts the doors when the angel came and leaving him in charge still the old man came back. Yet never in that time has anyone has every come to the church, so Phantom had to take the role as caretaker of the church.

He lightly side, he glanced up as he walks forward up to the double doors that were abandoned open for anyone to come in. Phantom walk was slow as if he had all the time in the world, what was the hurry? Not like he was going to die any time soon. After all he was already dead.
He halts just before the double doors half a meter away from them, he watched the female. He stayed silent for a few seconds then spoke, not really wanting to disturb the unknown female, but he was incharge after all, then again, he had more rights then a vicar considering of what he is..

''Is there something you need, miss?''

The voice that he spoke in was clearly, not fussed that she was here at all. Not even curious of to why she was here.

Sakuda, not the one to startle at a mere voice, turned her head to gaze at the boy who has broke her train of thought. She smiled fondly, something she usually did, though her lips were together, not showing her canine teeth. "Just admiring the beautiful building," she said, her voice light, showing her calmness. What was there to be afraid of? Certainly not this young man. Then again, Sakuda had to be convinced that not everyone is what they seemed. Sakuda walked a few steps, until she was about five feet in-front of the boy. She curtsied politely, then smiled once more. "My name's Sakuda. It's a pleasure to meet you . . . ?" She tilted her head like a puppy, wondering what she should call him. Certainly not sir, right. . . ?

Phantom stared at the girl and didn't help that he noted when the girl tilted her head, it was like then he passed the pet shop yesterday, when the puppy tilted it's head at him and started barking.. Well the barking was his guess that he was eating a chicken sandwich and the pup wanted it too. Which at the end of the day e somehow wound up working in the pet shop for an hour and a half, it seems humans welcome more quickly then the other beings then again, he was their to look after them- but thats getting off subject, in the end he shared his sandwich with the dog.

But this girl couldn't possibly be hungry? Not the fact he didn't known her race, but he could tell she wasn't human, after all what good of protector would he be if he couldn't tell the difference between a human and another being.

Her name was apparently Sakuda.. He stared at the girl, with his usual sky blue eye, that held insight of nothingness. He didn't like beings knowing his first name even though his last name was Japanses for WOMEN he didn't let it phase him after all, His real grandmother gave him that last name, he holds it dear to him. He crossed his arms over his chest not really feel like moving at all.

''Onna..''

Sakuda blinked her eyes, head back to it's normal position. She let her eyes drift towards the sky as she thought to herself. "Onna?" She pronounced it simply as the boy had. She smiled, letting it roll off her tongue, practically tasting how she'd say the word. "It's a nice name," she resulted, clapping her hands in delight, though it didn't make a loud sound when her hands met. She then raised her brows, wondering why the boy was around at this time. Especially at a church. "Beg my pardon if I intrude, but are you the son of the church owner? I've never seen a young man around such a structure in the morning," she inquired, curious.

Phantom stared at the girl. Their was nothing to like or dislike about his last name so why did this girl like it? And the way she clapped her hands? Why did she do that action? Sure Phantom had been down on earth for what now five months? He unstood the history of parts of the world, yet he didn't completely understand peoples actions, like her clapping one for example. And the other one when cats always land on their feet? Was that the case even after dropping it off a five story building?

Phantom closed his blue eye and a sigh left his pale lips. Yet they didn't stay shut for long the eye hardened and into distant cold emotions and annoyance. Sure he might of been a human before he died but no.. He was not that old man's son.

He turned away fromt Sakuda and walked into the church in his usual slow pace, for a second he was not going to answer her, but yet he did.

''Thats a personal question Sakuda-san, you shouldn't assume things so easily.''

His words seem to echo about the church as his silent footsteps move with seen grace down the aisle, on the wooden floor.

Sakuda blinked her eyes, confusion filling her blue irises. She wondered why the boy looked so deep in thought. Sakuda tilted her head once more, brows furrowed. The boy apparently wasn't from around here, as obviously said himself, but Sakuda knew more depth to that. He didn't understand her antics, most likely, for she never saw someone so deep in thought after she had done one of her antics.

The sigh that escaped his lips caused her attention to return to the boy. When he started walking, she followed her puppy-like instinct and stepped along as well, entering the church without a problem, whereas demons and such evil beings would have to wait on the outside of the soil. Sakuda was in awe, though slightly upset how the boy reacted. "I apologize," she said sincerely, wondering if she hurt the boy's feelings.

"It is a beautiful church, though," she commented, smiling at all the decorations.

The angel made his way down back the aisle with his silently light footsteps. He didn't are for Sakuda Apologies after all it took alot to get him to cave and cry like a child. Words can only caused bruise to soul not like Physical action takes damage on the body.
He walks as he looks up to his angel. Yes his, over time since he came he he had dubbed the painting of the angel 'his'. After all only a few old people, the vicar and the angel were the most regular and only people who still come to this church.

He halted in his steps at the end of the halter quietly and swiftly doing the christian blessing touching his head and chest as he does it, then his head is bowed then looks back up to his angel as the speaks to the girl easily again not really caring if she was here or not.

''Not many people come here. They have no time for religion let alone a neglected and unoccupied settlement, that only needs tender loving care.''

Rosaline stayed at the first few pews, starring in complete awe at all the architect work that went into building this structure. Her eyes fell to the angel painting up front. Sakuda smiled gently, like a mother would with a child. She bowed, her hands in prayer position. She muttered a quick something before standing straight again, her eyes still searching the depths of the creation. Sakuda was definitely one to enjoy art, no matter what kinds. She tsked at what the boy said, shaking her head.
"It's a shame this place doesn't get more visitors. It truly is a sight to behold," she murmured, her blue eyes reflecting everything she saw.
"Such a sight! The angel is what completes the whole piece," she sighed, smiling in a dream-like state.

The angel let his eyes slid glance at Sakuda, he was starting to believe that his girl was a daydream, yet had away to enjoy the simplest things in life. An angel a messenger of god or thats what people believed~ Well they are sort of right about that some were but Phantom was defiantly not.
If god loved his people humans and creatures of the unknown, why was their war boring? And let alone the holy a mighty god doing nothing about it, sitting their drinking tea with the other gods, shiva, Hades, Poseidon..

No else went against him to save lifes, so Phantom being the rebel that he is Rebelled against it and came to earth and wanted to defend the weaker race the humans.

''Enjoy the simpler things in life huh?''

He spoke lazily as he takes his eyes back up to the angel painting.

Mori, a simple male neko, walked around aimlessly on the street, his usual attire that of black shorts, a black t-shirt, and a striped jacket that covered most of his shirt as it was zipped up all the way to his neck. He had thrown the hood over his head, covering his ears and his tail was tucked away under his shirt. The raven-haired boy looked up to the building that ever grew larger and stopped just outside the gates that would lead him inside, he itched to go inside but this was also the first time that he would have went inside for months now, maybe even years. He tilted his head thoughtfully and walked along the carefully decorated stone path up the spiritual erect building. His footsteps never faltering as he ascended the stairs, sensing no one inside, he went ahead and pushed at the old door that opened up with a very loud and disturbing creak. He looked around at this place holiness and cautiously made his way in, taking a look around at the pews and the cracked colored windows. He saw his reflection in jagged different colored pieces and he inwardly winced before stepping down the aisle, looking around with curious onyz eyes.

* she walks in sore and tired form her traviling and sits on a chair and sighs*.. Now time to eat....* she reaches in to her side bag and bring out a wrapped peace of meat*

Kyuzo's face was impassive not at all did he seem like he wanted to show any kind of emotion, after a time of walking keeping his eyes down did he frown making him look rather displeased. Never would that change it would seem, Kyuzo had enough of just about everything anymore and everytime it seemed to work out it would only fail in the end and so why should he try hard anymore. Kyuzo blinked once when he heard something and it came from the old church and so he went to check it out. Opening the door lightly with his left hand did he peek his head in. "Is someone in here?"

*she blinks and looks back at the door her ears down at the person* ummm yes

Kyuzo heard a voice and he looked in the direction it came from and he blinked twice before actually stepping in. Placing his hands on his hips, he tilted his head rather well bored like as he observed this women who had spoken not to long ago. Kyuzo never expected to see someone in the old church then again many things happen for mysterious reasons. "Hm, so why are you here?" taking a few steps forward, did he stop and look to her awaiting her response.

* she looks to him shyly * Well im from Egypt and I ummm just got here to ummm rest till my leg heals umm it's fine and all ummm * she stammers as she covers her blackened brushed leg and the gash that's bandaged up and covers it with her kimono

Kyuzo lowered his gaze catching sight of her wounded leg and he frowned some what as he glanced up to her and he fully approached her his eyes now looking into her eyes. "You need to get that leg of yours treated. If you don't then it may come to get infected and chances are you may actually lose your leg. If a infection is bad enough then it can cause alot of problems. Let me see it, and if I need to I will carry you to the hospital." Kyuzo placed his hand out to some what move a bit of her kimono that was covering her leg.

* she blushes shyly and watches him* I.its fine r.really besides I have no money to afford treatment

Kyuzo looked to her leg which was a bit noticable now and he frowned looking it over. "I will pay for the treatment." his right hand didn't want to touch her leg all that much since it looked pretty bad and he bet that it hurt alot. Kyuzo wasn't a doctor but the wound looked a little infected but he was only guessing since well it was a wound and it looked a little bad. Looking up to her lightly did he catch sight of her red face and he blinked once before closing his eyes. Kyuzo felt a little bad, only cause well if something looked promising then well it would back fire in the end. "I'll carry you to the hospital." Kyuzo opened his eyes as he looked downward some as he placed both of his hands outward trying to pick her up in a bridal style manner.

* she blushes deeper as her picked her up.* umm I it's ok you don't have to pay .. I.i don't have any way to pay you back... And beside my legs numb now anyways so it don't hurt any more and ummm * she stammerd*

Kyuzo didn't say anything as he made his way out with her in his arms, after the doors closed behind them did he decide to speak. "If they are numb then they need to be treated right away. You don't really have to pay me back, we must encourage to help eachother out. If someone needs help we need to help. That is after all the right thing to do." making his way down the road from the old church did he glance to her lightly and he closed his eyes. "Kyuzo Mamoru is my name." Kyuzo looked ahead making way to the hospital.

* she looked to him as he spoke *im Reka ... It's nice to meet you kyuzo... And thanks .. For everything
