Living Room

Opening the front door Mio looked around the living room a small, but noticeable, smile on her face. She set her backpack down against the wall by the door and silently shut the door behind her, not knowing if Suki was home or not. Running her eyes across everything in the room she noted the subtle changes and peering toward the kitchen she stayed silent. Listening for any noise moving about the apartment. Is she even here?

Suki had fallen asleep in the kitchen on the island while drinking, yet again. It had gotten more usual to find herself asleep on the island. The island was just out of view from the front of the living room so she was glad for that when she just barely heard the door close, making her wake up, realizing someone was there. She looked around to find a wine bottle on the counter and her a few glasses around the room. She bit her lip and slowly got up to put it away, but not before fumbling over things and running into the counter, making far too much noise by now that Mio would know she was in the kitchen. God damnit... That's what I get I guess...

Mio's eyes widened considerably when she heard all the noise in the kitchen. He heart threatening to beat it's way out of her chest she ran to the kitchen thinking her sister had fallen, or something along the lines of that. "Suki!" Skidding to a stop in the doorway of the kitchen she breathes a sigh of relief seeing that she was fine. Or appeared that way at least. "And here I was trying to be quiet."

Suki walked in backwards with her hands full of things from work. She closed the door with her foot and walked over to the couch, opening her arms and just dropping everything right here. She stared at it for a moment before she walked into the kitchen. I need something to drink...

She took out a glass and a bottle of her favorite wine, pouring herself a glass. She needed one, she hadn't drunk any alcohol in ages, so she deserved one. She walked back into the living room drinking a little bit. She sat it down and then opened up her computer case to take out her computer, turning it on. She looked around and decided to sit on the floor, dragging a few things she needed for paperwork along with her. Today was a work at home day, though she really did need to clean...

Fubuki walked along the hallways of the apartments looking for the right apartment number. When he came upon number 01 he smiled and knocked on the door before backing up, hoping that Mio was there so he could surprise her. He couldn't wait to see the look on her face when she saw him again after years of being apart. They had both left the Organization at the same time, but they had different places to go afterwards. He didn't want to leave his student and lover, it hurt him too much to do so.

Suki was staring at her screen intensely, absorbed in her work as always. Papers had been put all around the floor so she could use them and her glass of wine was now sitting next to the bottle so she could refill it from time to time. She probably should have had a bottle of an energy drink there instead, but she was treating herself. She just hoped that her sister didn't think she was getting back into her drinking habit when she came home.

When she heard the knock at the door it startled her very much, making her jump and squeal. Her eyes wide she looked up at the time and then the door. Hmm... Its either Mio forgetting her key, yet again, or some random sales person... She looked around herself and bit her lip, not realizing until now what she had done to the living room. She got up and put her jacket on so she wouldn't look like a total mess and stepped over all of her papers, careful not to ruin any of them.

She came up to the door and unlocked it, opening it slowly. If it were Mio she'd just pick on her. Sales person, she'd tell them to leave and close the door. When she opened it though she found herself not wanting to close it, even though it wasn't Mio. He didn't have a clipboard in his hand like the rest of them, he didn't look like some guy from the war trying to recruit members, she was very confused. His scent told her he had something to do with war like things though and that he was an eternal. He energy seemed to be pleasent as well. This one confused her. "Um... Hello. Can I help you..?"

Fubuki waited patiently as he heard someone talking inside. It didn't sound like Mio to him, so it made him nervous. Maybe he had gotten the wrong address? It could have been and older address of hers, he never knew. When the brown haired girl opened up the door he became confused and more nervous. Maybe he really did get the wrong address. "Um...I'm sorry, maybe I got the wrong address, but does Mio Kokugawa reside here?" He asked politely, not wanting to sound like he was was some odd man coming up to the door. He smiled gently, looking the girl over for a moment. It seemed as if he had interrupted her. Her appearance seemed a little messy. Or maybe he was just so used to not seeing anyone out of proper attire.

Suki continued to look at him with a questioning look on her face, a puzzled one at that. He seemed a little out of place to be around here, but then again didn't everyone around here? Miyagi Prefecture was for everyone that didn't fit in the rest of the world. Thats why she was there, away from her parents that no longer liked her. But that was besides the point at the moment. When she heard his question about Mio it make her even more confused than before. Why would someone be looking for Mio that was like this? She never knew with her sister anymore.

She pushed her hair down a bit and opened the door just a little more so she could stand all the way in the crack of it. "Yes, she does. She's not here at the moment. I'm not really sure where she went, actually. May I ask who is looking for her?" She responds to him, trying to feel more of his energy to maybe get an answer from it, but there was nothing. Nothing she could read at least. This guy must have had practice at hiding who he is. Guess that makes some what of sense of him knowing Mio. She seemed to know a lot of people like this.

Fubuki watched as the girl opened the door a little more. He couldn't tell if that was to make herself more comfortable or if it was a little more inviting to him. Reading people was his worse trait, he could never do it. He was embarrassed when she asked who was looking for Mio, he hadn't introduced himself. "I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Fubuki Oono, I'm from the Organization she used to be in." He smiled and said to her, hoping that would maybe clear some things up with her. Mio must have talked about him to her if they lived with each other. But knowing Mio, maybe she wouldn't have. "And may I ask who you are, Ma'am?"

Suki's eyes widened when the man told her he was from Mio's old Organization. She knew she had left that a few years back, not too soon before the war started, which made Suki happy. She didn't have to see her sister getting hurt, she was all she really had left after all. Ash was from her enemy Organization, but someone from hers... Did that mean they wanted her back for the war? She wouldn't let that happen. They couldn't take the last person she had in the family away. She wouldn't let another loved one get killed in the war.

She calmed herself down quickly before she replied. "Oh... She never really mentioned the Organization around me. Are you here to take her back..?" Her eyes changed from the green they were to a bright orange and she looked up at the man. "And I'm her sister, Sukiyomi Rinka." She replied quietly, wanting to know his answer to her question more than anything.

Fubuki was caught off guard by the girl when she asked him if he was here to take Mio back to the Organization. Mio really had never mentioned much to her about it, had she? It didn't help his situation when she told him that she was Mio's sister. How much had Mio hid from the both of them? He always knew she wasn't one to express things that made her seem week at all, or even many personal things even if they didn't make her weak. She was just that kind of girl. Thats what he liked about her though. She was some what mysterious.

It took him a moment to comprehend what had just been said. He looked at the small girl, not realizing until now how short she was. This was Mio's sister? They looked almost nothing alike, he couldn't believe it. He could tell Suki was uncomfortable about thinking that Mio was being taking back so he put a smile on his face to reassure her. Oh, no! I would never take Mio back to that Organization! We both left together because we disagreed with so many things they did. And her sister, really? She never mentioned you to me."

Suki sighed out as her eyes turned back to green in relief that he wasn't here to take Mio back. It would have killed her to know he was. She opened the door enough for him to step inside, he had earned enough trust from her for him to come in after this conversation. His energy was still hard to understand, but she'd just have to get over that. She shrugged as he said Mio has never mentioned her. "That's Mio for you. She doesn't tell anyone anything that isn't life or death information." She replied and looked up at him. "Come on in, I think she would be here soon."

She moved out of the way, closing the door once he would be inside. She walked over to her stuff, picking up her papers on her way. "I'm sorry for the mess, its a work day for me." She put all of her papers down on the coffee table, closed her computer and picked up the glass and bottle of wine. "Would you like anything to drink? I need to put this away anyway." She smiled at him, motioning to a seat for him to take as she walked into the kitchen. She always opened up more and was a lot kinder when she could trust someone.

Fubuki watched the girl as she opened the door for him. The sudden change in mood was a little surprising to him. He just caught glance of the her eyes, realizing they had changed color twice while they were talking. That was something new for him and he has seen a lot of different things in his 97 years. He walked in after her, laughing softly at what she said about Mio. "Well this is true. She must have learned that from the Organization, or maybe thats just how she is."

He looked around the apartment as he came in, notching the mess and bottle of wine on the ground. He could see why maybe Mio hadn't mentioned her sister to him. But that was rude of him, he didn't need to judge someone he was just meeting, especially if they were related to Mio. He looked at her when she asked if he wanted something to drink and he just shook his head. "No, thank you. I'm good for now." He smiled and walked over to one of the seats, looking around the apartment some more.

Opening the door to the apartment Mio walked in with her backpack slung over her shoulder. Turning slightly so she could close the door behind her she smiled, happy to finally be home after a long day. "Yo pup! I'm ho-" her eyes went wide with shock and her backpack fell from her fingers when she caught a glimpse of the figure standing in her living room. She shook her head thinking she was dreaming or something but when her vision was steady again he was still there. "S-snowy?"

Fubuki looked up from his search around the apartment when he heard someone come in. His eyes widened and he smiled brightly, standing up quickly to slightly walk forward before Mio turned to see him. He stood there for a moment, carefully watching her expression. It was something just priceless to him, to just see her again was priceless. He smiled wider at her as she said his nickname to him, something else he had missed. Just hearing her voice, their stupid nicknames, everything. "Hi Angel eyes." He put his arms up to her slightly, smiling.

Mio put her hands over her mouth tears came to her eyes but she pinched them closed so the tears wouldn't fall. Opening her eyes again she took him in, not realizing just how much she had missed him until she heard him say his old nickname for her. Hearing the name made her break and her hands fell away from her face as she ran into his arms, hiding her face in his chest and taking in his unique scent. "Where have you been?!"

Suki put away her glass in the dishwasher and then the bottle back under the counter into one of the cabinets as she came into the kitchen. She laughed at what he said, shaking her head slightly as she cleaned up the kitchen before she would come back out. "She's always been like that, trust me." She continued to clean when she heard Mio come in. She smiled and threw away the paper towel that was in her hand, wipping her hands off on it. She paused for a moment when she heard her sentence cut off and she said something else.

She walked out slowly to the living room to find Mio buried in Fubuki's chest as she hugged him. She blinked for a moment, feeling the energy in the room as she leaned up agains the wall. Well he was obviously more than just someone in the Organization... She watched them for a moment, just smiling. She had never seen Mio like this before.

Fubuki watched Mio as she tried to hide what she was feeling at the moment, but she was fooling no one. He watched her run up to him as she ran into his arms, making him wrap his arms around her tightly and pushing his face into her hair to smell her sweet scent. He smiled and held her even tighter, never wanting to let go or leave this moment. "You must remember that I told you there were things to take care of in my old town, what with all my enemies and such. I apoligize for taking so long, but this time I give you my word that I am here to stay." He nuzzled his head into hers a little more before pulling back some so he could look down at her lovely eyes and face.

Mio turned her gaze up so she could look at his face, unknowingly noticing the changes it had undergone since she had last seen him. Pushing herself up onto her tippy toes she gave him a quick peck on the lips. "You always were late sensei." She mumbled against his lips before slipping out of his hold and looking at her sister. Her smile turned sinister as she took in her sister's form leaning in the doorway of the kitchen. "PUP!!" She took off toward her sister and gathered her into her arms. Giving Suki a wet kiss on her cheek she leaned down and whispered "I didn't want my pup to feel left out."

Suki's eyes widened slightly hearing Mio call him her sensei. She stared for a moment, her eyebrows going together as she did. Her sister was the oddest person she had ever met. She fell in love with her sensei? It was like watching an anime unfold before your eyes, only this was real life. She shook it off though. It didn't mater. They were the way they were and he seemed like a lovely guy to be in love with. She knew her sister deserved it. Now though, she'd have to get on her about her never telling her about this man though!

When Mio pulled back to look at her though, she could tell she was gonna get on her first. Her eyes widened and she stared at her. "Don't you dare Onee-san!" She said, stepping off of the wal and back into the kitchen slightly. She was always too slow though. Feeling the wet kiss on her cheek she squealed loudly and pushed at her, trying to get away. The whisper didn't help at all. "Mio! You cow!" She screamed at her, trying to get away still.

Fubuki blushed gently at Mio's kiss and her little whisper to him. He kissed her back gently and smirked down at her because of the comment. "Well maybe I've just always done it on purpose, to keep you on your toes, teach you a lesson." He looked down at her with his signature smirk, knowing that would get to her just slightly. He stepped back when she went to her sister though, wanting to see this different side of her. He had never heard much about her family and wanted to see how she acted around them.

He couldn't help but laugh when he saw what she did. That really was a different side of her. He had always seen her playful, but not that way. He crossed his arms and shook his head with a smile on his face. "Now Mio, are you always this out of control? Did I miss something while I was gone?" he questioned her playfully.

Mio craned her neck to look at Fubuki while still holding her sister in her arms. Her smile grew when she noticed the smile on his face and the joking undertone of his voice. "I'm only this crazy around my pup sensei, she brings out the best in me." Mio opened her arms and let her sister go laughing. "Pup, this is my sensei from the Organization. The one who showed me the errors in their ways." She turned toward Fubuki and a gentle smile crossed her features. "Snowy, this is my little pup that I was separated from some time ago and met up with again 3 years ago."

Suki mumbled under her breath as she was released from Mio's arms. She brushed herself off and glared at her before smiling at Fubuki slightly when she introduced them properly. She looked back at her sister and pushed her slightly. "Why did I never hear about him until now, hmmmm?" She questioned her the way a sister would. "Is he the reason you'd sometimes come home so happy like and even late sometimes?" She raised her eyebrow at her and giggled, walking past her over to her stuff.

She sat down onto the couch and picked up her computer, opening it up so she could save everything she had been working on. She mumbled to herself as she did, not realizing she was growling at the computer while she did so. It just annoyed her at times that she had to keep up with her business all the time.

Fubuki smiled to Suki when Mio introduced them and bowed slightly in respect of her being Mio's sister. He watched the exchange between the two as Suki asked questions about them from before, making him blush slightly. He walked over to Mio and wrapped his arms around her waist, putting his head on hers as he looked over at Suki. "I apologize Miss. Suki. I never meant to keep her out so late at times." He chuckled after his remark, looking down at Mio.
