Outside the Library

Akito went outside after looking at some of the books, mostly the anime and manga's they have in the library. He swings his tail slowly, lost in thoughts for a moment and looks at the sky, before saying quietly."I come another time i guess."He starts walking, leaving out of here.

Walking out of the library Mio looked around. Hmm, looks kinda empty. Moving over to the small circular garden in the center of the courtyard she sat down on the curb. Her eyes quietly roamed the empty courtyard as she brought a hand up to fiddle with her hair. What a boring day.

I walked out the doors of the library. The air was cool, and damp. It was the way it would be after a short rain that early afternoon. I looked around, and saw nothing, but not no one. There was a girl sitting in the the courtyard garden just sitting feeling like everybody else on this boring day. I slowly started to walk over to her. It only took seconds to close the distance, "Hello," I said quietly.

Sakuda walked to the library, feeling boredom sink into her skull. She sighed, wearing her knee-high leather boots with black shorts, which matched well with her puffy pirate shirt that had the sleeves rolled to her elbows. Sakuda's new black hair spilled around her waist, while her blue eyes gazed at the structure, wondering why the hell she chose this place out of all places. She shrugged, sitting outside the library, on the steps. She began thinking of her Vampire girlfriend, and sighed. She loved Rosaline, yes. But her heart was still in pieces. She glanced to her floor. Rosaline was her current love, while her past love infatuation still lingered in her chest. Sakuda closed her eyes, smiling.

Suki mumbled to herself as she looked over the planner she had on top of the things she was carrying as she walked up to the library. She hated paperwork days, but it was better than sitting at home, drinking and being depressed. She despised that nothing could work out with her anymore, love wise. Ashton had been gone for about 3 years by now, so she had moved on, yes, but it was what had been happening after him. With Aozora abandoning her without warning and then liking her best friend? Gosh. She was going to go mad from all of this!

She pulled herself away from those thoughts though. It was time to do some work and to not be depressed. She closed her planner and looked up to make sure she wouldn't run into anything or trip on the steps when she saw Sakuda sitting there. She froze for a moment, thinking of what she should say to her. She looked down at herself first. In her black dress with lace ripping off of the ends and her white flats and her hair was down. It was the obvious depressed outfit and she knew Sakuda would know right off the bat. Would she say anything was the question though. At least she didn't smell of alcohol anymore.

She closed her eyes and faced it, she was going to have to in a matter of moments anyway. "Oh, hi Sakuda!" She said as cheerfully as she could and as surprised as well, as she slipped her eyes to black.

Sakuda had been sitting there, bored out of her mind, yet she enjoyed the sunlight against her skin. She yawned softly, letting her eyes fell back shut, while she stretched her arms over her head. She heard a voice calling to her, which made her open her eyes, starring at the figure. She dropped her arms, an expression of amazement crossing her face. She slowly stood up, walking down the steps to stand in-front of the girl. She stared at the short one, her eyes getting watery. "Suki-Chan . . ." She gave a cry and threw her arms around the girl, careful not to harm her or what she was carrying. Sakuda hugged the girl tightly to her. "Where have you been you idiot?!" Sakuda was teasing of course, but also was wondering where the girl was. It had been New Years since the girl saw her.

Since the kiss . . .

Sakuda let go of Suki, taking a step back. She glanced to the ground, then smiled. "I missed you," she said honestly, her blue eyes looking into Suki's.

Suki watched as Sakuda reacted to her words. She took quick notice that she never looked at her clothes or her appearance. She only looked at her, and that she was Suki. She stared up at Sakuda as she stared down at her before wrapping her arms around her. Suki couldn't help but blush as she did so, making her let go just slightly of her things so she could hug her back. She could never not take up a hug from her.

As she pulled back from the hug, she listened to her question. She blushed deeply and looked down at her feet, knowing she had been worried. She had never meant to just disappear after New Years, but that was just what she did without realizing it at times. She sighed and looked back up towards her, tilting her head in the cutest way possible to look as if she was very sorry, which she was.

She smiled as Sakuda lastly said that she had missed her before replying. "I'm sorry Saku-chan! I didn't mean to worry you, I'm very sorry. I guess I just got caught up in my own little world. You know I do that at times, just need a break from the rest of the world, I guess." It was all truth in what she said, so it wasn't as if she was lying, just keeping a few things out.

Sakuda frowned softly, knowing Suki way too well. She flicked the girl on the side of the head. "You baka! You don't know how worried I was! I looked around for you, for like, ever!" Sakuda sighed, holding the side of her head with her hand, looking relieved. "You're such a dork," she sighed, forgiving the girl. Sakuda leaned over, tilting Suki's head up. "And don't think you're going to slide past this so easily, chibi," she said with clear authority in her voice. The Werewolf smiled softly afterwards, kissing the girl on the top of her head.

"So, Suki . . ." Sakuda gestured to the steps as a form of seat. She kept her eyes on the ground as she led Suki there, seating herself on the fifth step. Her eyes never lifted.

"Are you . . . OK?" Sakuda knew Suki had the habit of drinking, but didn't smell it on the girl, which was a plus. She then wondered what other things the girl had been doing since her disappearance. Sakuda glanced up at Suki, tilting her head like she always did when questioning.

Suki frowned as Sakuda flicked her, making her rub her head afterwards. She knew she deserved it though, so she didn't fight it. She didn't like that Sakuda had looked all over for her, it made her worried too, knowing she was out looking just for her. "My house is the main place to look, silly." She replied lightly as she kept rubbing the back of her head

Her eyes closed for a moment when she came up to her and held her head before kissing he top of it, making her smile big, even after she had stepped away. She opened her eyes, letting them slide to the normal green color they naturally were. "I never said I'd get away with what I do, but I do it anyway!" She told her teasingly to her comment, though she suppressed a small whimper because of the authoritative tone in her voice.

She followed quickly like a little puppy as Sakuda gestured to the stairs and she walked over to sit on one of them. She stopped behind her as she watched her turn around and sit so she could look up at her. She stared down simply for a moment at Sakuda as she heard her question. She knew she couldn't lie to Sakuda though, so she sat down on the same step so she wasn't too short still. "Well... I guess not. I promise I haven't been drinking as much, but I really have been depressed..." She gestured to her ripped lace on the bottom of her dress and her beat up old flats she rarely wore outside of the house.

Sakuda sighed, pushing her shoulders back. "There's no way I'm looking in there. Who knows what I'd find," she said, faking a shudder. She then winked at the girl, laughing it up. She then moved her hair over her shoulders so it wasn't in her way and looked to Suki. "I spoil you too much, Dear," the Werewolf girl sighed, glancing towards the sky, her blue eyes blinking.

Sakuda did notice the outfit, though she was trying not to bring it up since she always dogged on Suki for whatever. Sakuda glanced over to the girl, sympathy filling her eyes. She leaned towards the girl, resting her temple against her head. "Oh Suki-Chan . . . I wish I could make things better for you. It hurts me to see you like this," she said in a soft voice and tone, her arm coming up and hugging the girl to her, careful of the planner the smaller girl held. "Have you been keeping yourself busy," Sakuda asked, glancing down at the planner.

Suki glared over at Sakuda as she said she didn't want to look inside of her house. "Are you afraid of my house, hm?" She asked teasingly, only to blush when she said she spoiled her too much. It was true though. She was royally spoiled by Sakuda quite often. She was just a little pup after all, she needed a little bit of loving every now and then!

Suki pouted slightly for a moment when she stared at her ripped up dress. It wasn't like her to just let a dress, of all things, to get ripped up and warn out. Her clothes were one of the things she took care of very well. The dress had been so attached to her body lately she just started to take care of it as she does her own body and self. She didn't care what happened to it, it was just something worthless to her at the time being. It made her sad now to see it like that.

She looked up at Sakuda as she leaned her head on her, saying she wish she could help. She wished Sakuda could help as well, thats all she really wished at this moment really. Her sister was tough to come by these days because of her mentor/boyfriend being back in town, so her best friend was all she had right now. Why she always ran away though she was clueless to. She smiled as she felt her arm wrapped around her, making her lean on her a bit more. "Well, kind of. Organization things for my sister when she's off with Fubu, my own business crap, etc etc. Just getting things done I guess. She replied with a scuff.

Sakuda glanced to her, smiling softly. "Just a bit. Not sure if it'd eat me or not," she said simply, shrugging her shoulders. Sakuda did have to admit though, Sakuda did spoil Suki allot, ever since they met, really. It was just how comfortable and loving Saku was.

Sakuda then stared at Suki as the girl while Suki pouted and stared at her dress. She thought it was cute, though Saku liked the ripped clothing. Sakuda rubbed her shoulder for comfort, then blinked her eyes. She rolled her eyes, glancing down to Suki. "You can always come to me when you're lonely or anything," she said, "though you might have to hang with Rosaline as well," she said, not thinking that the two haven't even met yet. Sakuda quickly forgot about Suki's lengthy stay-away, and enjoyed being beside her best friend again.

Suki giggled at Sakuda's reply, looking up at her. "Or are you afraid I might do something?" She asked with a smirk and then lightly nipped at her nose, making a small growl under her breath. She knew she'd get an alpha move back though. Suki was usually the alpha when it came to all other werewolves, but with Sakuda she was defiantly no more than a beta.

Suki shrugged slightly, not knowing why she had never come to Sakduas in the first place. "I'm just lazy I guess. Even though you're just one apartment complex away." She laughed at her laziness, shaking her head. She realized one reason might be because of Rosaline. She hadn't realized they had been together, but something hinted at it in her energy so she had already known. She wasn't known to be around people when they had their significant other around, it just seemed to bug her, even with Mio and Fubuki.

She sighed softly and laid herself against Sakuda more, placing her planner at her feet so she didn't have to hold onto it anymore. She really had missed her best friend more than anything.

Sakuda winked at Suki. "I probably wouldn't mind IF you did something," she teased, laughing afterwards. Sakuda squealed softly when Suki nipped at her, and frowned, looking at her nose. "Oh it's so on," she growled, her hands trailing down to where Suki was ticklish. She grinned widely as her fingers dug slightly into her sides, wiggling to tickle her.

Sakuda then frowned, removing her fingers. "Is that the real reason," she asked, unsure and a little upset. She knew Suki, and if something was bothering the girl, she avoided it. Sakuda then shook her head. "Forget I asked," she said, holding Suki close to her, looking to the ground. She tried to smile, but it only came to a lazy crooked one.

Suki raised an eyebrow at her when she said she maybe wouldn't mind if she did something. She giggled though, knowing she never would anyway. Her eyes got wide though as she heard her tell her its on. She squecked just slightly when her fingers barely touched her sides, her most ticklish spots for her. She stared up at her with puppy like eyes, hoping she wouldn't start to tickle her. To her surprise though, she didn't.

She continued to stare up at her, she couldn't help it anymore. She just let her eyes shift back and forth between her every changing emotions as she stared. She knew that Sakuda knew her well, which bugged her at times because she could read right through her even when Suki tried to cover everything up. She sighed gently and shrugged at the question. "Its partly the reason." Which was true. It was part of the reason. The other reason was because of Rosaline though. On top of not liking to be around couples, even if she wasn't single she hated to be, she was also the jealous type, which didn't help with her situation.

Sakuda sighed, glancing away from Suki. She hated doing that. Hated looking away from her face. Especially when those irises were acting up. Though, Sakuda couldn't help herself. She knew Suki better than anyone, so much it surprised Suki. Sakuda glanced towards Suki, before sighing. "Suki-Chan . . . Your eyes," she said simply, smiling slightly. She shook her head, placing a hand over her eyes. "Common, you're making me think I'm on drugs. One emotion at a time, silly," she giggled, calming herself, though it did hurt to know Suki didn't want to spend time with Saku just because of who she was with. Sakuda could practically smell the comfortless rolling from Suki when she spoke about the Vampire.

Suki watched as Sakuda looked away from her, which made her frown slightly. She didn't understand why she looked away and she hated to not be able to see people's faces, it was where she got most of her info from. She could tell Sakuda was seeming to be not so in a good mood anymore, which bugged her, making her think she did it. She didn't want to think that she caused it, but it was just where her mind always went to first. She always thought things that had nothing to do with her were her fault or she'd always go to the worst scenerio.

Suki blinked a few times when she realized Sakuda had covered up her eyes. She blushed gently, closing them as she made them turn black. She hadn't realized they were acting up. She couldn't help it though. They changed with her emotions and right now her emotions were all over the board. They only color they had left out was red. She shook her head and looked at her again. "I'm sorry Sakuda-san." was all she could say.

Sakuda stared at Suki, removing her hand. She let her fingers slide down Suki's cheek, resting on Suki's shoulder. She gave the girl another hug, holding the girl close. Saku buried her face into Suki's throat, feeling guilty. "No, I'm sorry. I know you can't help those things," she said, her fingers clutching Suki twitched, while Sakuda tried not to get over-reacting with her emotions. "You know I love you, right Suki," she asked her best friend, getting a bit worried she'd hurt the girl's feelings. Sakuda screwed her eyes closed, not caring how both her own hair and Suki's were in her face, or that her back was hurting from leaning over so much. Sakuda realized she'd missed Suki way too much.

Suki watched as Sakuda's hand trailed down her cheek and onto her shoulder. When she looked up at Sakuda she could feel all of the energy coming off of her, every emotion she was holding back and every emotion she was showing. Thats what happened when someone knew her so well and was so close to her. She could tell everything about them most of the time. She was an open book to them, rare for her really, and they were an open book to her. She watched Sakuda's head go down onto her neck and she bit her lip slightly, seeing and feeling the pain from her.

She slowly wrapped her arms around Sakuda tightly as she hugged her, bent over in a bad postion. She tried her best to sit up a little more so Sakuda didn't have to bend as much so Suki's small little body could fit in her arms correctly. She held her tighter though, nodding to her. "Of course I know that you love me. And I love you too." She replied quietly, not wanting to be too loud. More than you might know...

Sakuda noticed Suki's effort to make her into a comfortable position and smiled, the little happiness from that gesture making Saku feel better. She held Suki close to her, though her head lifted slightly. She giggled softly. "Oh Suki . . . You really try, don't you," she said softly, adjusting them so Saku was on a lower step, making them in a better position. Saku looked into Suki's eyes, shaking her head. "I'm glad you love me . . . I don't know what I'd do if . . . If you hated me," she whimpered. "Because . . . I know you must not like it when I tease you so much, or when I snap for what you do. You're your own person, I know, but I really try and look out for you," she admitted, feeling bad for upsetting Suki.

Suki blushed a light red as Sakuda noticed her trying to make them more comfortable. She knew that if she could change something for the better she would always try to, even if she failed miserably as she did now. She nodded to her in response and then looked at her, just simply staring at her eyes before she wasn't looking at her anymore.

Suki listened to what Sakuda said, feeling bad when she heard her whimper. That wasn't like her to do something pup like around Suki, since she was always the alpha one between the two. She couldn't help but react and smooth her hair down, nuzzing her head into her as if she was a wolf. When she looked at her again she just stared again, making sure he eyes stayed black though, knowing the two colors that would pop up on her eyes at that very moment. Stronger emotions would always play out while the other ones wouldn't even show at all.

"I never mind it when you tease me, its just your thing and I love it. And I know you're looking out for me, I have to have someone put me into line when Mio or Fubuki don't. You're all I've got too. Its hard for me to get attached to anyone new since they all seem to leave now. I don't know what it is that makes them leave though, but you must be the only person that over looks whatever it is that makes people leave me all the time." She spoke her mind on the topic, something that came very easy to her, so most of the time she usually would just bite her tongue and hold things back.

Sakuda sighed softly, glad to get that all off her chest. She looked to Suki, offering a smile. She moved her head to rest against Suki's knees, her eyes gazing up to her as she listened. She felt her eyes brim with tears again, but she wiped them away stubbornly, before using her arms to hug Suki's waist. "Nya," she murmured softly. She nuzzled Suki's stomach. "I'm sorry, Suki-Chan. I wish I was always there to help you out . . ."

I wish I was a better person.

"And I wish you didn't feel so depressed."

I wish I wasn't me.

Sakuda sighed heavily, wondering how Suki was able to bend her emotions. Sakuda usually tried to be happy, to make the girl smile. Lately, though, Sakuda guessed she just had some issues with Suki leaving at that time, that moment. And such a lengthy time she was gone, too.

Suki looked down at Sakuda, simply smoothing down her long black hair, enjoying the softness of it and how long it was. It calmed Suki down to let her eyes turn back to green, though she could never get rid of the tint of pink they always had in them when she was around Sakuda. It was impossible and since it was always there, she never knew it was even there anymore. She smiles softly as she hugged her waist while her head was in her lap. "Please don't be sorry. Theres nothing to be sorry for. Anything that I do is my own fault, not yours or anyone else's. They are my decisions, even if they're stupid sometimes."

She sighed quietly and continued to stare down at Sakuda. Something about her just made her want to look at her forever. What it was, she never knew. Maybe some part of her mind way back there knew, but her, herself never knew. Her mind was a complicated one though, always changing and hiding things.

Sakuda shrugged at Suki's words, finding herself comfortable with the girl. "Shush, now, little one," She sighed softly, enjoying Suki's fingers on her hair. She then remembered something, and smiled at Suki. "Hey, Suki . . . I haven't forgot," she said, reaching up with one hand. Her fingers reached to the top of Suki's head, petting that spot where her Inu ears would be. That was where Saku always remembered the cutest reactions from Suki. This one thing that Saku clinged to made her happy.
