Absinthe's Room

Absinthe rolled over in her bed, mumbling to herself as she slowly woke up. When she finally opened her eyes she stared down at the pillow that her face was pressed into and stretched out slightly, groaning as she did. Ew... I'm still in my rave clothes... She rolled onto her back and looked up at the ceiling, stretching a bit more. When did I even get into my room..? Did Amarettto take me in here? What happened to Suki? She had many questions. She sat up and blinked a few times, ruffling her hair to push it down slightly. She got up and walked into the bathroom, blinding herself when she turned the lights on. Her first glance was the calendar, realizing it was New Years Eve today. She groaned and turned on the water, splashing her face with a little bit, then brushing her hair out. Maybe I should put something else on... These clothes are digging into my skin... She took off her jacket and skirt and left them in the bathroom, walking out to find the clothes she had on the ground were gone. She made a face and walked to her drawers to pick out a pair of jeans and slip them on, leaving her top half in just a bra, and then walking out of her room and down the hall to check on Amaretto, ignoring Blue's room since her bathroom door was still open, meaning she was gone.

Absinthe groaned as she slowly woke up in her bed. She rubbed her eyes, yawning before she stretched out and sat up in her bed. She leaned against her knees and stared over at her calender, realizing it was January 4th, Suki's birthday. It wasn't fair it was so close to New Years. They needed to do a party for her or something... But maybe she would want to do that with her family instead, that was very possible. She could always see her later. She shrugged and leaned back on her pillows and back board of her bed. She followed the stripes from the sun coming through her blinds in her room until getting near her bathroom door and noticing something different. Blue's door to the bathroom was closed. She smiled to herself and sighed out happily. Finally, she's back. I was starting to get worried... Can't wait to see this family reunion this morning. She giggled to herself and put her arms behind her head, thinking about what they should all do today.

Absinthe came into her room quietly, realizing she just went the long way to her room from Blue's. She closed the door and then walked over to the bathroom to close Blue's door to the bathroom and then walk back into her room and close her door as well. She stared at her window for a moment before walking over to her bed and climbing into it, grabbing one of her pillows and falling into it, she screamed into her pillow. After letting out the her frustration through screaming she quickly started to cry a little bit into her pillow, silently doing so, hoping that Amaretto and Blue wouldn't hear her crying after the scream she made.

It took Absinthe a while to stop her crying, but she finally did. She sat up on her bed and started to rub her eyes, hiccuping every now and then from the noises of crying she had been keeping inside. She looked around for a moment before getting up and slipping off her shorts, leaving them where they dropped, and going to put on her black pants. After finding her black and electric green rave jacket and slipping it on, she went into the bathroom and brushed her hair out. She stared at herself in the mirror for a moment, listening to what was going on in Blue's room. She shook her head and didn't bother to put on any make up before leaving the bathroom and going out to her balcony to sit at the table out there. I hate winter... It's always cold... She scowled and hugged herself as she looked out at the ocean. She didn't really care if she was cold right now.

Amaretto opened the door and peeked in, his eyes immediately going to the bed in search of Absinthe. When he noticed she wasn't there he pushed open the door more so he could walk through and closed it again behind him. He looked toward the balcony and noticed her sitting outside in the cold. He shivered when he felt a breeze brush across his bare chest and he regretted not grabbing a shirt before he came to see her. He walked over to the door and leaned against the frame and pointedly ignored the cold air. "You ok baby girl?"

Absinthe jumped a bit when she heard Amaretto behind her, asking her if she was okay. She laughed a bit and looked down, unfolding her arms from around herself. She smiled a little bit and looked back at him, her eyes obviously red, though she hoped he wouldn't notice. "I'm... Fine." She said simply before getting up and coming inside, closing the balcony door as she did so. "You look cold, Ciro." She walked over to her dresser and pulled out one of his old shirts, walking back over to him and handing him it. She smiled and tilted her head a bit, not bothering to ask about him and Blue. She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to know.

Amaretto followed her back into the room and smiled when she went rummaging through her drawers only to pull out one of his shirts. When she had said he looked cold he simply shrugged, not really wanting to give it away. Stepping forward to take the shirt from her outstretched hand he lifted it up and slipped it over his head. He pushed his head through the neck of the shirt and stepped forward again so he could hug her. He placed his chin on top of her head and closed his eyes, his arm unknowingly tightening a bit. "I'm sorry sweetheart. You shouldn't have to deal with all of this." He ran his hands up and down slightly trying to warm her up a bit and comfort her at the same time.

Absinthe sighed and closed her eyes as Amaretto hugged her after putting his shirt on. She knew this was coming from him and she wish it wasn't. Yes, she did want to be comforted by him, but at the same time she wanted away from this subject. Things were not going as she planned and it frustrated her. She just wanted to escape away to her club, possibly find that guy she had been talking to. Or even bring Suki over for her birthday, knowing that not a single person in the house would argue with Suki around, she was too sweet and loved everyone in this household. "It's fine, Ciro." She sighed and wrapped her arms around his waist gently.

She laughed a bit and looked up at him now. "We need to get you a cellphone, don't we?" She giggled and smiled, having heard towards the end of their conversation.

Amaretto closed his eyes and let out a big sigh when Absinthe asked if they needed to get him a cellphone. He really didn't want one. He had never been good with too much technology shoved onto a little device as one of his friends had proved when they let him borrow their phone. It just seemed like a waste. But it as how everyone kept in touch so he supposed he could learn how to use one, especially considering it was an order from Blue to get one. "Yea...though I'm definitely not looking forward to it." His hands stopped moving as he dropped into his thoughts about the different types of cell phones they could force on him.

Absinthe laughed at his pure enjoyment of getting a cell phone. She could tell he didn't want to have some complicated cell phone she let go of him and went to rummage through her dresser again to find her old flip cellphone. She pulled it out and looked it over, laughing as she took off the charm that was on it and came over to him to give it to him. "Here, we'll just have to get you a sims card and to put in that. It's easy. There's nothing but calling and texting on it, I promise." To show him that she wasn't lying she pulled out her cellphone from her pocket and pushed it open to a full keyboard and the screen being touch screen with different icons on it. "See? Mine is a smart phone. Though it's smarter than I am." She laughed and poked Amaretto's nose, smiling gently at him as her eyes weren't as red as before now.

He watched as she went t he dresser again and hesitantly took the phone from her when she offered it to him. He looked it over before nodding his approval. This was something he could work with. Nothing to fancy or overly full of things he would never even use. He looked at her phone when she showed him and immediately shook his head. Too much work for something so simple. "I think this one will do just fine. It should serve it's purpose without being too intimidating." He blinked wen she poked his nose and smiled. He was glad to see her smile, he had a feeling that it was going to be rough around here now that Blue was home. He smiled back at her and tapped her nose in return, showing that he wasn't too lost in his thoughts about everything.

Absinthe giggled at her brother and put her cellphone back in her pocket, glad that he was good with the phone she gave him. She rubbed her eyes a bit and then looked around, thinking. "Do you think we should have Suki over for her birthday, today?" She asked him and looked back up at him. She knew he had taken a liking to Suki, and she was fine with that. She wasn't sure if he wanted to see her so soon after New Years, but it wasn't her fault Suki's birthday was so soon in the New Year. She laughed a bit. "Though I might just invite her over even if you don't want to." She smirked at him and stuck her tongue out at him.

He cocked an eyebrow at her when she asked if he wanted to have Suki over. He didn't see why not. She was a fun girl, if not a bit shy, and if it was for her birthday it would prove to be n interesting affair. But when she said she might invite Suki over even if he didn't want to he gave her a playful glare and put her into a headlock, making sure to ruffle up her hair more than he usually did. "Listen here ya brat. I have no problem with her coming over as long as you two behave." He knew his last comment was a bit ironic but he just played it off like it hadn't meant a thing.

Absinthe's eyes went a bit wide when her brother smirked at her, knowing he was up to something. She playfully screamed out, laughing loudly as she tired to stop him from messing her hair up and failing. "I think you've turned into even more of an asshole than before, you big jerk face!" She laughed and hit him gently, not really wanting to hurt him. "I'm pretty sure the behaving should be going the other way around." She slipped away from him finally and stuck her tongue out at him, pulling her cellphone out to call Suki over. "That goes with both Suki and Blue. There's just some crazy shit going on in this house lately." She laughed and smiled as Suki answered the phone. She quickly told her that she wanted to do something for her for her birthday and after a quick argue of Suki telling her she didn't need to do that she agreed and said she would be over soon. When she hung up she punched Amaretto in the arm gently and smiled. "Go get dressed, Brother Bear."

Amaretto watched Absinthe slip from underneath his arm and, feeling a bit childish after such a serious conversation with Blue, stuck his tongue out right back at her. Pulling his tongue back into his mouth right after he did he straightened and stretched his arms up above his head. He never really minded serious conversations but he always felt the need to act younger after them, it helped him keep his head straight and his personality as it was. He watched as Absinthe hung up the phone and when she hit him and told him to get dressed he smirked, crossed his arms, and walked over to her bed so he could fall backwards onto it and let out a sigh of relaxation.

Absinthe pursed her lips when she watched her brother not listen to what she had told him to do. She rolled her eyes when she saw him on her bed. "Well then, fine. Go ahead and be shirtless for the cute girl coming over. I'm getting dressed in here, hope you know." She walked over to her dresser and pulled out her nice black and lace dress and setting it on top of it. Quickly taking her band bra and skirt off and throwing them at her brother she rumaged for a strap bra to put on before she slipped the dress on. When she went to look for her jewlery she kicked her brother's leg before kicking her boots from under her bed. Anyone that saw her do stuff in her room would wonder as to how she know where everything was in such a cluttered room. It was pretty, but just had stuff everywhere.

Amaretto shrugged, more to himself than Absinthe, when she mentioned being shirtless for a cute girl coming over. Wasn't that every guys goal? To show off? Her bra band and skirt hit his chest and he just raised an eyebrow at the ceiling, not really understanding why she had thrown them at him. He peeked up at her when he heard her footsteps coming toward him and he let out a surprised gasp when she kicked his leg. He sat up straight on the bed and sighed."Alright I'm up, I'm up." He watched her move about her room with a little smile on his face. He didn't want to move just yet, he was quite comfortable. "How much time do I have before Suki gets here?" He was sure he had at least enough time to throw on a clean pair of jeans and shirt.

Absinthe laughed at her brother's question. The first time he meet Suki she showed up early because that's who she is. She looked over at him as she put her earrings in. "Most likely not that long. When she says she's on her way she means it. Unless I woke her up then she'll be taking a while to get ready. So you either have plenty of time, or no time at all." She giggled and turned back around to put her last earring in and then walking over to her bed, sitting next to her brother so she could put her boots on. "All I'm gonna say to you is be careful with her." She quietly said while she put her boots on. She stood up afterwards and checked herself in her tree shaped mirror before going out the door. "Get dressed for me at least. I want to do something nice for her." She called over her shoulder as she went out to the living room.

Amaretto laughed when she told he that he either had plenty of time or no time at all. Good thing it didn't take him long to get ready. As she sat down to put her boots on he stood up and stretched his arms over his head, letting out a happy sigh when his back and shoulders cracked. Tilting his head to show her that he heard her warning he smiled at her and stuffed his hands into his sweatpants' pockets. "I will be don't worry. I plan on taking things slow. Rushing into things headfirst is the last things on my mind....for once." He chuckled and turned toward the door, intending to go get dressed. He pulled his right hand out of his pocket and raised it up over his shoulder, waving to her as he walked out of the room and yelling a quick 'Be right back!' before walking out of the room.
