PERSONALITY: At a young age Rosaline was diagnosed various mental illnesses such as antisocial personality disorder. The woman is usually stoic and quiet. Her personality can sometimes change in a minute, going from her usual quiet self to manically laughing or even violent. There have been times when Rosaline can be caught talking to herself or even her ‘sister’ that passed away back when she was a child. While her face normally remains entirely blank there are times that her mouth can be seen twisting into a sick grin. There is pretty much no such thing as just smiling for her. It would be nice to say that she never smiled without reason, but that’s not necessarily true as she could just be sitting there and think of something that causes one of those dark grins.

HISTORY: Rosaline was born into a fairly rich family that owned a nice house. Her parents were upstanding citizens and her older sister Elizabeth was just as good. From the time she could speak her parents knew that there was something different about her. She opted to watch silently, or would be found talking to herself in hushed tones. No one ever knew what she was talking about, but from the look on her face they thought it couldn’t be anything good.
 
By the time she was about four or five Rosaline’s family wanted nothing to do with her. During gatherings she was locked into her bedroom and eventually she would be left there during normal days as well. Everyone was afraid of her, her entire life, including her younger sister Alice. There was only one exception to this, and that was Elizabeth. While her family opted to mostly pretend she didn’t exist and the nannies and other servants suffered at the hands of the poorly socialized girl when they’d bring her foods and such, Elizabeth used to enter her room and bring her gifts and play with her.
 
One of Rosaline’s favorite gifts was a doll that Elizabeth brought to her back when she was six. Upon seeing Rosaline’s pleasure with the doll Elizabeth began bringing her more and more, creating a collection for the young vampire. Much to their parent’s disapproval Elizabeth would spend hours and even sometimes sleep in the room with her young sister. Rosaline would only speak to Elizabeth and would share some of her darkest thoughts with the girl.
 
Rosaline would be found eagerly awaiting her sister’s arrival by the door every single day…but one day her sister never came. The heart broken girl sat in her room and screamed and cried for days, refusing any attention that the servants might try to give her, including food. When they had finally had enough of her “ridiculous” temper tantrum Rosaline’s parents went into her room to confront her. Upon first inspection it seemed as if the girl was not in there, but when they looked for her they found the young vampire sitting in a corner, knees to her chest, and her favorite doll in her lap, head angled downward, and rocking back and forth.
 
After finally managing to force Rosaline out of her position and bringing her into her father’s study they sat her down at the desk and stared cruelly at her. They explained how her sister was forced to leave and likely killed because of her affections towards her and blamed their own actions upon the girl. When she once again began to “act out” her father raised his voice at her and finally hit her. That is when Rosaline snapped. To her mother’s horror the girl grabbed a letter opener from the desk and slit her father’s throat with it, turning to her now hysteric mother after.
 
No one knows exactly what happened after that. What is known is that Rosaline was found some ways from the house which was suddenly up in flames. Everyone assumed that an angry servant did it, and no one suspected that the mentally unstable child could have murdered her family and started the fire herself.
 
That is how Rosaline came into the custody of a social worker, who tried his hardest to place the girl with a home, but eventually gave up and opted for watching over her himself. It was this man that brought Rosaline to Miyagi in the first place. The woman lived here for a while, seeming to grow more mentally stable until she was captured by the humans. While in their custody Rosaline had a half human daughter and was released shortly after. It wasn’t long before Rosaline left her nearly physically grown child and disappeared, people believing her to be dead.
