Akemi River

Shinjou chuckled again, "Yeah....I'm usually pretty good at finding my way around, but I haven't been here long enough yet, and all I can really do with my phone is call or text." He blinked, noticing the boy look at his arm so he pulled it away from his head and pulled his hand back into his sleeve, looking away.

Mori pretended not to notice and he nodded.
"I see. Is that why you are exploring around? That's the best way to learn not how to get lost."

Shinjou nodded, "Ah, yes, that's exactly what I was doing." He blinked some as he realized something, "Oh, excuse me....I never gave you my name....I'm Shinjou Kazusaki." He gave a bow and remained bent at the waist, looking at the ground.

Mori twitched his ears as the man stayed bowed and stared at him curiously for a while before introducing himself.
"Nice to meet you Shinjou-san, I'm Mori."
He stood up and shook off his wet hand to try and get rid of the water.

Shinjou looked at Mori and slowly straightened up to his full height of 6'10 and he smiled some at him, "It's nice to meet you, Mori-san." He then stuck his hands into his coat pockets.

Mori sort of frowned Shinjou's height and looked away stubbornly, hating his shortness.
"Was there any certain destination that you were heading for?"

Shinjou shook his head, "No....not really." He blinked as he saw Mori's actions and said to him, "Hey, don't worry about it....I'm just abnormally tall."

Mori blinks and glances back to him before looking away again though this time it was with a small smirk.
"Abnormally huh? So just blame the genes or do you eat alot of greens?"

Shinjou blinked some at Mori's question, "Well.....I eat a lot of 'greens'.....and I don't really remember my family much, so I'm not sure if it's my genes..."

Mori's ears lower as he watches the water pass, his tail waving absently.
"Hm...funny how alot of people here don't know their relatives."
He smiles a bit back at Shinjou.
"So, where did you come from? Before Miyagi."

Shinjou looked at Mori and tilted his head, "Really? I never saw mine. They were too busy and kept me in a room." He listened to Mori's question and smiled, "A place called Lucan Town."

Mori swayed his tail away from the water and put away his cellphone. His parents kept him in a room?...
"Lucan town? Where's that?"

Shinjou tilted his head, "Lucan Town...? It's in Russia." He smiled softly at Mori before rubbing the back of his head again.

Mori's eyes widened in innocent curiousity.
"Russia...Is it cold there like they say in the tv?"
He traveled alot with his brother but they never went any higher than that one village in China and Jordan. After they had settled down in Miyagi, Mori has been hooked on history shows and animal planet, watching how other people and animals lived.

Shinjou laughed a bit, "Depends on where you are and what time of the year it is....though, if it were to be....let's say......90 degrees here it'd probably be like.....60 in Moscow."

Mori crosses his arms behind his head and nodded.
"I thought it was cold? 60 sounds like a windy day. Isn't it supposed to be around the 10's or negatives?"

Shinjou laughed, "Sounds like your talking about the Siberia part.....60s is around the high for summer...sometimes it can get warmer than that, in Moscow, anyway."

Mori slumped his ears in a disappointed sort of way.
"Si...Siberia? Is that above Russia?"
The neko had only looked at maps so he was quite literal when he meant 'above the colored Russia' was another colored section maybe?

Shinjou chuckled lightly and shook his head, "No, no....Siberia is IN Russia." He smiled at Mori, not minding having to explain things to him.

Mori blinked and elt his arms fall as he tilted his head and put his hands in his pocket, unable to keep still.
"In? How big is Russia?"

Shinjou chuckled lightly, "Russia...? Russia's pretty freaking big...." He smiled at Mori once again.

Mori smiles back and rubs his cat ear.
"Have you been all over Russia? Or well, maybe not all of it but..."

Shinjou shook his head, "No....I've been to Moscow, and a spot in Siberia, but I haven't really been around many places there other than Lucan Town."

Mori pulls on his ear and lets it go as he turns his gaze to the water.
"Hm...Was Lucan town kind of big? Did it have a lot of people? I heard that there aren't really any big populations in Russia."

Shinjou blinked some, "Hm...? Moscow has a fairly large population.....but, Lucan Town, no, not really so much."

Mori's eyes trail up the river wondering if there was a waterfall up ahead or maybe mountains...
"Well, here in Miyagi you'll meet plenty of people."
He smiles back to Shinjou.
"Nice people most of them."
