Sakura Lake

Mori walks around the lake bored out of his mind, his ears were covered by his hood and a little white cat was perched on his head.

Ashling walks up and stops when his hat blows off his head from a strong gust of wind and his expression turns from a calm one to a terrorized one. "AH!?!" Ashling runs after his hat screaming after it treating it like a dog more than a hat. Entering the water he stops and groans with his gloved hands over his face. "Ah, man....."

Mori continues to walk on tillhe sees a hat without a head flow by. he raises an eyebrow and watches it fly off.

Ashling runs in place as he looks at the water and curses his mind at the moment. "Crap, what if I go in there and the crocs like eat me?" Ashling looks around and looks to a stick he has a light bulb over his head with a fanged smile. He begins using the stick to try and get his hat near him.

Mori sees a guy trying to get his hat out of the water using a stick and sweatdrops then looks to the water. Is wasn't that deep nor was it the icky looking so he pulls the cat off of his head and steps near the edge.

Ashling's eyes were wide. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! THERE ARE CROCS IN THERE!?!" Ashling wanted to run in but ran in place when he did so and he winces and puts on his yellow like goggles not liking the sun at the moment.

Mori glances to the man before sniffing the air and jumping into the water carelessly. The cat runs near a tree to avoid getting wet and Mori swims over to the hat, looking aroundt he water for any 'crocs'.

Ashling was completely shocked. Looking to the sides he shivers not really trusting the water, Ashling looked to the young man and then to his hat as he says some what cautiously. "Don't make to much noise, they can hear it!"

Mori picks up the hat and swims back to the shore carefully being quiet and puts the hat down whie he wrings out his hair. The cat takes a cautious step foreward to her wet master.

Ashling blinks picking up his hat and shaking it of its wet contents he sighs with his eyes closed. He puts on his hat and holds it with his left hand so it doesn't go flying off again, Ashling sees the cat and raises a eyebrow before keeping it raised and looking to the very silent young man.

Mori looks up to the man feeling his gaze on him.
"...What?"
He asks bluntly as the cat curls her tail over her paws.

"Finally you speak!" Ashling laughs faintly his fangs visible when he lets out his laugh. Glancing to the cat he takes his goggles off for the hat proved to put up a little bit more shade than it, Ashling looks to the young man again wanting to see if he would speak more words.

Mori returns to wringing his hair out then ties it into a ponytail so he wouldn't have to mess with it anymore. The cat meows questioningly at the man and Mori feels his stare again, twitching once.
"What are you...doing?"

"Observing?" Ashling says bluntly his expression was blank but his smirk was evident. Hearing the meow of the cat he just about looked at it before looking to the young man again and he pointed at the cat. "Is it yours, what is the beauty's name?"

Mori frowns at the man's answer and look sot the cat.
"I didn't name her."
The cat looks up to the man and swipes playfully at his finger that was pointed to her.

Ashling smiled at the cat before standing up and he points at the man with a big grin on his face. "What is your name, mate?" Still holding his hat, Ashling would look between the two silently.

Mori stands up and looks to the man.
"Mori Akuto...And yours?"
The cat tilts her head and goes over to play in the grass.

"Ashling Nereza!" Ashling says right away and he smiles ear to ear. He was greatly happy that he was talking more, back in Africa people said odd things and some that weren't at all words. Ashling finally was glad that he found some one that spoke well mainly his tongue but he couldn't help but tease people some. "N-N-N-Nice to meet ya, Akuto Mori!~"

Mori blinks and tilts his head to the side.
"Nice to meet you...Why are you stuttering...."
The cat rolls around in the grass getting her fur dirty.

Ashling laughs with his eyes closed as he pats Akuto's head. "That will do my friend, that will do" He looked to the cat and he blankly made a face that ment 'what the heck?' but he shrugged. Ashling guessed it was a cat thing.

Mori twitches as he's patted then rubs his head absently as he looks to the peaceful cat.
"...Do you like animals?"

"Hell no!" Ashling says with a narrowed eyed expression. "The ones I seem to take a liking to is small cats and small dogs but that is about it." He chuckled at how he sounded and he winced remembering the hectic nights in Africa facing lions, hyenas, crocodiles, and leopards even hippos and such. He hated it, Ashling was just glad that the animals are smaller here.

Mori looks ot his cat one last time before returning his gaze to Ashling.
"Is that why you were worried about the crocodiles in the lake?"

"Hell yeah!" Ashling said in a wide eyed expression. "I faced ten of them before and let me tell you something it was no walk in the park!" Ashling remembered that night treading through the water only to get attacked by those darn log shaped animals. Ashling shook his head and shivered like a cat out of water while making a 'brrrrrr!?!' noise.
