Dolphin Waterfall

Hanako rubbed her eyes and closed another book. She watched as Mori climbed up the ladder. She then stared at his cat ears... she wondered how soft they were, though she could never ask... that might be embarrassing. She likes cats anyways or any animal even bugs. Though some run away from her as she tried to show it affection.

Mori tilted his head and took a few books from their place and slid down the rest of the way of the ladder and walked back up to Hanako and sat down, laying the books of the table.
"Here's a few more though I doubt they will have much information..."

(I love that manga xDD)

Hanako blinked, "Hm? Oh! okay." she said clearing her throat and looking to the books like nothing happened.

Mori twitches his ears forward and he looks up to her curiously.
"You okay, Hanako-san?"

"Oh yes," she said waving her hand, "I'm fine... why do you ask?"
She couldn't ask something so embarrassing so she just kept this to herself.

Mori tilted his head and let his chin rest on his palm while his elbow rested on the table.
"You're acting a little...odd."
He chuckles softly and lowered his ears.

"Really? I-I haven't noticed." She blinked and tilted her head a little, "how?" she questioned a little curious.

Mori opened a book and flipped to the front page.
"You're stuttering. You are pausing a bit between a few of your words...And you seemed to be a little embarrassed."

Hanako blinked again. Could he read her mind or something? or was he just really good at reading people. Hanako bit her lip and then blurted out, "Can I touch your ears?" she asked and flushed from embarrassment. She said it.

Mori blinked and his eyes widen in surprise but he covered his mouth and looked away as he started to laugh.
"Is that it?...Sure go ahead, I don't mind."

Hanako looked away, turning beet red. It was so embarrassing. Hanako reached over and rubbed his ears. They felt soft just like she thought they would be.

Mori continued to smile, though he had to keep a straight face on trying not to laugh so he wouldn't embarrass her any more than she already was. His ears twitched in her hand and he looked back to the book, letting her do what she want.

"Wow... their really soft." she said in a hushed voice and hoped he didn't hear that. She pulled away and was still embarrassed though. She quickly hid her face with a book.

Mori chuckles softly and flicks his ears and lowers them into a normal position.
"Thank you, I brush them every day."
He teases light heartedly, not wanting her to feel too embarassed.

Hanako smiled and laughed a little from behind the book. She set the book downnand looked at him. "Really?

Mori rubbed his ears and then let them go.
"Yeah actually. Heh, with a small gentle brush since it won't do any good with a big brush."

Hanako rested her chin on her palm and listened. "Hm... you do a really good job in brushing them." she commented.

Mori nodded, wearing an amused, and continued to read the book.
"I have to, or else the fur will get matted and become unappealing. I also have to brush my tail as well."

Hanako felt a little dumb. Of course, animals have to be brushed. She just smiled and looked down at the book on her lap.

Mori lays his head down on his arms which rested on the table. He looked away from the book and closed his eyes.
"Most people don't know that we have to brush you know. They think we have perfect hygiene or something."

Hanako gave a small nervous laugh. "Oh really? I-I never thought..." she trailed off and rubbed the back of her head.

"I know. That's why I said most people..."
He waves his tail absently, getting bored of just sitting here in the library.

Hanako leaned back and sighed. Suddenly... and she couldn't believe she was thinking this, but... she too was getting bored. She glanced to Mori and then closed the book setting it back on the table. She looked around and wished that there might be something they could do. Maybe they could take a break?

Mori sighed and sat up as well, looking around wondering if they should leave but then again he didn't feel like getting lost as unknown said in those passages.

Hanako thought and walked around, hands behind her back. What to do? she thought.

Mori leaned back in his chair and stared up at the cieling.
"Why did he bring us to such a difficult place?..."
