Kitchen

Tenma enters the kitchen, making sure not to make eyes with the door that she passes. She goes to the cabinet and pulls out a packet of hot chocolate, going over to the tea pot she boils hot water.
"Feel free to take a seat" She motions to the island, leaning on the other side. Her eyes are darker at this point.

Moxxi walked in after Tenma. She hadn't said a word on their way, she simply followed after her. She looked around the kitchen when they entered, her curious eyes trying to take everything in. She glanced towards Tenma when she spoke and simply nodded her head. She went over to a chair and sat down, silently looking at the marble top in front of her. She could feel her skin beginning to sting as it warmed up.

"Tell me, where are you from?" She asked, trying to make small talk as she filled the cup with the hot water and mixed in the coco packet. She then slides the cup to the girl, and goes back to leaning on the counter. She was stunned by the resemblance... it made her frown harder

Moxxi slowly looked up as Tenma spoke. She watched her for a moment before looking back down at the surface in front of her, speaking in a quiet tone, "England. My stepfather was American, so I've learned to hide my English accent." She placed a hand on her leg to rub it gently. She didn't like the feel of her cold skin warming up. It irritated her, because it wasn't an actual pain, but rather a tingling.

"Do you like it here?" She asks, tapping her fingers lightly on the counter top. it was odd that this girl she had just met was now in her house. Tenma almost let herself feel happy, but shook it off quickly. it wasnt right for what she was doing. this was wrong and she knew it

Moxxi shrugged her shoulders, "I used to." She didn't look up, but rather only shifted her gaze to look at her legs as her fingers moved across them in an attempt to heat them up faster. "I haven't been there in a couple of months. I was kidnapped. I kind of like being away from there. Less memories." She sighed slightly after a moment, "I should call my stepfather sometime. Let him know I'm okay."

She tilts her head, watching the girl's actions. How odd it was, the mannerisms and such... "Memories aren't the easiest thing to escape from..." She murmurs, casting her gaze out the window at the setting sun. "How quickly things can go from peaceful, to world shattering..." she speaks in an ancient accent, her dark eyes becoming shaded in red as if they only reflected in this moment.

Moxxi stopped moving her hands so they simply sat against her thighs. She slowly looked up to Tenma, watching her. She was getting upset again, and was fighting down the urge to hurt herself. She figured that it was something she shouldn't do in someone else's house since it could make a mess. "Yeah..."

Tenma taps her fingers on the counter top, her eyes watching the other. "How did you get the scar on your neck?" she asks, it was something she needed to know. It would put her at ease in more ways than one.

Moxxi frowned slightly when Tenma spoke. She lifted a hand to touch at her neck, her fingers running over the scar. "I...don't particularly remember. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time someone tried to strangle me, but I don't remember any of them leaving a scar. Just bruises." She dropped her hand from her neck and looked towards the vampire, "Why?"

Tenma shook her head, "It's nothing. Don't think about it" She bit her lip, moving from the counter to the window. She adjusts the curtains, trying to keep herself away from the inner thoughts that wanted to be heard. It was bothersome, not only did she have a big hand in her love's murder --now this girl appeared like a demon sent from her own personal hell. She let out an audible groan, unable to stop it.

Moxxi frowned slightly at what the vampire said. After only a moment of thought she stood up from her seat. "I can see I'm bothering you, and I've warmed up since coming here, so I'll just go." She gave a tiny smile, "Thanks for taking care of me." She turned and started to head for the door, her hands moving to push into her pockets. The first thing she was going to do when she got away from there, is find something to cut or burn herself with because she was becoming more and more upset.

Tenma nods, "Go, go away" She says not turning around. She puts her hand on the glass and clenches her fist breaking the glass in one motion. Her skin doesnt slit but the shards fall onto the ground both inside and outside the apartment. When it breaks she simply stands there, embracing the wind that comes, watching the darkness take over the sky.

Moxxi blinked at the sound of the breaking glass. Her head hung slightly, her hair falling into her face, "Sorry for the trouble." She swiftly moved to the door and open it, murmuring quietly, "Don't worry. You won't see me again." She stepped out of the door and closed it, heading back out into the cold. She didn't bring her wings out since it was too cold for them and they'd freeze, so she just walked on foot.

Without a word Tenma went to the door, opening it she called outward, "I have something for you" She calls out, leaving the door wide open for the girl to come back as she retrieved an item from the closed off room. When she had it she went back into the kitchen, silently hoping the girl would return for it

Moxxi glanced over her shoulder when Tenma called out to her, but when the woman went back into the apartment, she rolled her eyes and continued walking until she'd left the compound.

Tenma gets up suddenly, and leaves in a rush
