Study Area

A open book layed in seshomi's hand as she sat in the study room. Usually when people came to this room (which was a few at best) they would bring books to study, but she didn't like to do that. When she would come around the rooms were usuall empty, and she would bring manga like black butler into there and pass the time. She liked that manga mostly because Gabreil, her guardian, acted like a butler to her. She was nothing more than a girl at most she was indepted to him. She heard a knock on the door and quickily positioned her head in that direction.

Kyuzo had walked into the Study Area of the Library and if anything he had come to hold 7 seperate books about different peoples histories. Sitting away in the corner by himself he had come to open a book and began to read it, Kyuzo's clothes were different than how they were before. Usually seen in a kimono or a certain bartender outfit he was wearing normal kind of clothes, Kyuzo tapped his finger from his left hand onto the surface of the table. Kyuzo had found some clues about his family line, and if anything he could find out somethings. It was about time to find the secrets and if anything he finally be placed in the light instead of being in the dark. Kyuzo's expression sort of became blank as he read a paragraph about certain events and to put it simply they were familar to him in so many ways.

[Flashback]

A long time ago, Kyuzo living with his Grandfather.

This distant thought had come to be made within his mind, Kyuzo's past began to replay when he was sitting down with his grandfather watching the news. "Uh, Ojii-san? [Grandfather?]" Kyuzo's grandfather looked to his grandson and if anything he had come to smirk with his eyes closed looking very proud but gentle like all elders in the family had come to look like. "Hai? [Yes?]" Kyuzo tilted his head and he asked curiously with his gray eyes full of life, though his color was different now he had come to remember his own eye color. "Is our family hiding things from people including me?" Kyuzo's grandfather coughed in his left palm making Kyuzo frown in slight concern. "Hm, what makes you think that?" Kyuzo sort of frowned, since he was young he was always left out. "I over heard somethings with the people in our family talking about it. What are you hiding?" Kyuzo's grandfather's face became distant if not lifeless as he looked to the tv which was still showing pictures. "I am not hiding anything from you, I tell you everything don't I?" Kyuzo looked to his lap and if anything he looked not at all convinced. "I want to believe you but I can't? If anything you are hiding something from me, why?" Kyuzo's grandfather sighed and shook his head as he looked to his grandson seeming normal. "It isn't like I want to keep secrets from you, but if you come to find them then you may come to be scarred later and come to hate youself as well as everyone you know and love." Kyuzo's face became pale for he had never thought that his family had held such a dark secret and if anything he became scared but shook it off. Kyuzo would come to figure out about the family secret for now he was fully interested.

[Flashback Ended]

Kyuzo's eyes had been fixed on the paper for sometime now, the knowledge he was getting from this book was very helpful and if anything urged him onward to keep digging. Stopping his left hand from tapping on the hard surface of the table did he come to flinch mentally for the clues he had come to find really did work and scanning the pages he was able to find his name and his family which was broken up now and if anything he had come to feel a bad sense of hesitation. Would he come to read further into this book, Kyuzo had to for he didn't want to be left alone in the dark anymore and so he continued on reading. Kyuzo found his name and his mother's and father's names and if anything he smiled mentally for he had come to finally come to understand about the records and further more their secret. Taking in a silent intake of air, Kyuzo had come to let it out as he found his sisters name and if anything it had come to say her location was unknown which brought a heartbroken expression to be fall his face. The small notes also said that she probably wasn't alive anymore and he closed his eyes closing the book. Kyuzo had come to accept that theory that his little sister was probably not alive or had come to be missing. Either way chances are chances for if the book says she is probably dead then she probably was. Kyuzo had already come to know about his mother leaving for another man and so he couldn't go back to her to find out even more clues. Not only that but the family members he were close to were either dead or with someone else. Kyuzo took up another book and contiued on his reading trying to figure out more information about his family and its beginning into becoming in such a large family.

Kyuzo had come to sigh for he has been reading from when he first arrived and if anything he looked annoyed for he had come to not find anything of value. Closing his eyes, Kyuzo couldn't help but look to the window and seeing it rather dark outside and he mumbled something which sounded 'Just great.' Kyuzo stood up and placed the books back up and if anything he walked to the window and placed his hands against the fair colored square which was see through and in main terms it was called a glass. Kyuzo didn't find anything of value but if anything he felt pain in the main location of his chest. The thing he had come to find, broke him in more ways than one. Kyuzo's little sister was long gone, probably dead and if anything he may never come to converse with her ever again. Taking in a deep breath, Kyuzo smirked for he had to of seen it coming. The clue he had come to found was probably the only thing between his sister and himself. "Poor Rinkage." Kyuzo shook his head and looked over his shoulder and if anything he chuckled.

What luck it was to be alone, Kyuzo was on the verge of crying and if anything he had come to bring pain into a lot of people. Raven was seriously hurting inside due to his actions, Kyuzo also knew that it was his fault for he may come to hurt Sunshine-chan and probably everyone else. Kyuzo's family once said that things like this happen and to not hate himself but he was hating himself. He couldn't stop his father from dragging him away, Kyuzo could only imagine what his sister was feeling when they were seperated. "Poor me." Kyuzo said this while now simply looking outside again and if anything he may come to stay there a moment longer for the pain he was feeling was enough to bring down a full grown elephant. Lowering his head, Kyuzo's eyes were shielded and his hands were clentched together into tight fists. This war brought pain into many already or so he had come to guess and if anything, Kyuzo may come to partake in this war for it was never going to end from the looks of it.

The library was quiet, just as most should be. Books were all lined on the shelves neatly, ready for anyone to come along and pick up. A few books were laying on the tables scattered about the library itself. The windows had colored glass that would have captured the fascination of a young child or even an easily entertained person.

The silence was broken by the clicking of heels. A female standing at a height of 5' 7" strode into the light. Her hair was a light chocolate brown color and flowed down to her waist, where it rested in neat, elegant curls that could be likened to that of a movie star or singer. Her eyes were a forest green with just a tint of brown on the edges. She wore a purple dress with a light blue torso length sweater over it. Her heels were about two to three inches and were a tan color. She wore only mascara on her eyelashes. Resting right below her collarbone but above the curve of her chest was a ruby pendant that contained an amber-colored liquid, though it didn't look amber from within the container. She wore a silver snap bracelet with several charms on her wrist. A soft sigh sounded from her lips as she looked around.

The female had come to relax for a while. She had been wandering and wanted to take a break. She had seen a library and smiled. Libraries in her younger years were scarce. Not many people could read, so books were kept privately. She moved over to a shelf gracefully, picking a book about folklore of the local land. She walked to an area with windows and chuckled. She acknowledged the male at the other window. She then sauntered over to a free windowsill, sitting on the small ledge while reading the book intently. 

Nearby, an invisible girl sat at the table, looking at an open book which happened to be on magic and spells.

Kyuzo blinked and he looked over his shoulder having not seen something go by him, leave it to him to be busy with his thoughts that he didn't notice anyone come in. That was a bit of a downside, Kyuzo may have to come and practice his focus some more then again he could always do it at his bar. Silently, Kyuzo took a step away from the window he was at and sat down at a table which was away from everyone else if he would call it that. Kyuzo looked out the window with both of his hands holding his head up and he couldn't help but think of distant thoughts which didn't come to help him very much and so he looked away and looked toward where the books were being held at and he blinked once. Should he come to read one more book before he leaves, that was a question that Kyuzo wasn't to sure on if anything he looked back out the window and began to think of something for the time being.

The female sat quietly, reading for a while. She heard footsteps, which distracted her from her readings. The male had shifted his movement and it was caused by something the Spanish female couldn't pinpoint. She nodded to him as he shifted, in case he happened to see her. It wasn't like she was normally watched. Sure, she had been told that she was one of the most beautiful girls around, it didn't help that she was generally aloof. However, this male slightly piqued her interest. She was half tempted to go out of her way to speak with him. After all, the worse he could do was ignore her.

"Hello sir," she said quietly, looking up from the yellowed pages of the mythology book held in her delicate hands.

While her family had been poor, the young woman did not have the hands of a working-class woman. She had been in school a long time and spent most of that time perfecting her handwriting and English skills.

Kyuzo gasped faintly and he looked to the young women who had come to say something to him. "Konnichiwa [Hello,], Can I help you?" He knew that it sounded pretty much like a question but he couldn't help but let his curiousity fly. Kyuzo had to say something to her for he didn't want to seem rude and he closed his eyes for only a second. Something was on his mind, Kyuzo knew what was on his mind for it was about his family history which he had come to dislike more than anything at the moment. Kyuzo returned his attention on his new friend at that moment for at least talking would come to distract him about his emotional thoughts.

The brunette put her book aside. She strode over to the stranger, sitting across from him. She figured that if he wished to speak to her, he would like to be a little closer. The female flashed him a smile that showed her fangs, though they weren't bared. Her eyes were becoming a brown color with every passing moment, which annoyed her greatly. She didn't want to be feeding off of random people already. Sure, she had a new life, but her vampiricism still followed her. She would always have a taste for blood.

She shook her head in response to the question, "I was just saying hello. Ignoring people is rude, after all."

She idly opened the book in front of her, flipping the pages lazily. She had glanced at the cover and found the topic boring. She wasn't actually looking at the book itself. She was looking at the boy across from her, as was customary. She was a very polite person and refused to act in any kind of rude manner.

Kyuzo blinked and he nodded with his eyes shifted to the side in a faint narrowing manner as if he had been struck by such a strong force that it had come to engulf his feelings. "Gomenosai [Sorry], I think that just saying that made me seem rude right? I was just curious and if anything I believe that talking with people makes things easier. Hm, did I seem rude? " As he asked this, Kyuzo looked up toward his new friend and he couldn't help but feel like he was being rude to her either that or being rude to the people who were coming here to read for peace which of couse he tried to respect everyone. Kyuzo was speaking in a softer tone of voice close to that of a whisper and his eyes seemed to see the women's fangs which caused him to shiver faintly deep down in his mind and after doing that and getting it out of his system did he return to be calm and very well mannered. Kyuzo was also interested to hear what she had come to say about his response.

The female shook her head, a small smile creeping onto her face into the process. She sometimes had a tendency to influence other's reactions to her. She of course, didn't do it purposely; it just happened. She raised her green orbs to meet his eye level. She noticed the shiver that passed through him. She let out an inaudible sigh. Great, another one who's afraid...

"No, you didn't seem rude at all. I'm just quiet, that's all." she said softly.

Kyuzo's facial expression was hard to make out for that was some kind of reponse he was not expecting then again it was good to know that she did not find him rude. That would of been a bad first impression and he was glad that did not come to happen, impressions made everything better or so that was what Kyuzo believed. Kyuzo softly scratched the left side of his head making a faint nose to come up as he did come to scratch his head of a small itch that had come to form on his skull. "That is good to know that I am not rude. Gomenosai for I haven't told you my name, I am Kyuzo Mamoru. You are?" Kyuzo was curious and he surely made sure it showed on his face, he also did not want her to think that he was not at all a kind man for he was just having problems at the moment.

Alejandra smiled, shifting in her seat a little. A chill ran suddenly down her back as she felt cold hands grip her seat. The ghostly teenager was clinging to the chair, watching the boy with fascination. Alejandra muttered something quietly to the pale teen, who nodded then frowned. The green eyed female reached out to twirl her hand around her finger idly. It had already been cemented into a curly state that morning, so twirling it would do no harm. The ghostly female smiled softly, padding quietly over to the window and sitting on the sill, staring out into the distance. The green eyed female heard a thought pushed to her. I do miss him... The vampiric looked at the window distractedly, replying with a small "I know. You'll find him."

Alejandra tilted her head to the side, listening to the man speak.

She nodded as a polite gesture and said, "Hola. My name is Alejandra Martinez."

At the window, the ghostly female hummed quietly to herself, lost in her thoughts.

Kyuzo was calm and politely silent as he listened to her response, hearing her name brought a small smirk to form on his lips and as they formed he chuckled more silently to himself. "Nice to meet you, Alejandra-chan." As he spoke he made sure to show more of his interest and that interested feature remained on his facial expression. Kyuzo rubbed his hand in a soft gesture of trying to get rid of a small itch there and he shifted a bit and that was due to him fixing his seating posture. Crossing his right leg over his left, Kyuzo had come to look normal and that added on to his calm posture. Something seemed off but it didn't come up to his expression or his eyes none for he was still trying to think of things that he had come to find out about his family for he use to be called 'Tengu' and since he had come to change his name then he had every right to look into the Tengu name and get some clues and secrets on the family and if anything disband them. Kyuzo really wanted to disband them but he knew all to well that will not be easy.

Alejandra blinked her forest green eyes at him. He seemed to be smirking to himself. She wasn't sure why. She knew men were odd, but... It would probably explain why she had never gotten married in her younger years. Then again, she was sure that no one would find a vampiric female attractive. Of course, she found out years later that being a female vampire had it's perks, but that was besides the point. She kept her orbs on his face as he shifted slighty. The female crossed her legs at her ankles, folding her right foot over her left. She leaned forward slightly to hear him speak. The pendant with the amber liquid fell into the curve of her breasts which was slightly visible. Of course, one had to be looking down to notice this. The brunette figured that if the man was really paying attention to her, he wouldn't react to her shift in posture.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Kyuzo-san." she murmured; the Japanese honorific rolling off her tongue unpleasantly.

Alejandra was unused to using honorifics from other languages. This was only irritated by the fact that she had an accent.

She fingered with her pendant before looking up to the male and asking, "So, do you come here often?"

Kyuzo had come to allow such a troubled expression to peirce his eyes, if anything he hated feelings this way. The feel of not knowing what to do and who to believe in was so over powering, Kyuzo felt stuck in a mass amount of quick sand that wasn't bringing him to his death of suffocation but death to his own beliefs. His eyes remained fixed on his new friend, Kyuzo then shook his head while closing his eyes and as he opened them did he return his attention. "iie, [No,] I never do come here to read unless having to do research on things. My family has been keeping something from me and well I found out kind of why they kept it away from me. Then again it is probably just me and that I need to grow up." Kyuzo's head slumped a bit, what a bind he placed himself in. Relationship wasn't the only thing that placed him in such a bind but other things to concerning the family that he broke free from.
