Amaretto's Room

Amaretto opened the door to his bedroom, using his free hand to flick on the light switch as he stepped through the door, tugging Suki along behind him. He let go of her hand and moved over toward his bed so he could take the extra pillows off and turn down the covers. "Welcome to my humble abode my dear. And as much as I would love to go to sleep we should see about getting you something more comfortable to sleep in first." He turned away from his bed and gave Suki's form a once over. "You look to be about the same size as Absinthe so you could probably go steal some of her clothes if you like... I would offer you some of mine but I don't get them until tomorrow." He gave her a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of his neck, wondering why he hadn't brought his bag along with him in the first place.

Suki giggled and smiled, not minding that she would have to sleep with him. She blushed when he said he didn't cuddle much and followed him along, looking at their hands that held each other. She didn't mind that he said nothing about where he had slept, it wasn't exactly important. She looked around the apartment as she usually did, looking at anything she might have missed, and noticing nothing of course.


When she got into his room behind him she frowned slightly when he let go of her, but quickly went back to looking around, seeing that his room was different than the las time she had seen it, as if Absinthe some how knew he was coming. She looked around, tilting her head. It looks like he's already lived here, things are even slightly personalized... She quickly smiled at him and acted as if she wasn't looking at everything. She looked down at herself and laughed "Yeah, I'm pretty sure this dress wouldn't be very comfortable to sleep in..." She scratched the back of her head and smiled at him. "I'll be right back then." She turned on her heels and walked down the hallway to Absinthe's room, slowly opening the door to make sure she didn't wake her. Seeing that there were things on her floor she picked them up and then walked back out.

She came back into Amaretto's room and looked at what she had picked up, laughing. "Black skirt and a black and neon green shirt with lace on the arms... Damnit Absinthe, this is what I get for picking up random things off the floor..." She looked up at him and laughed at herself, shrugging slightly. "I'll go change." She walked to his bathroom, realising that Blue's and Absinthe's must share the connecting bathroom. Smart on their choice. She quickly got out of her skirt and bra and put the shirt and skirt on, leaving the dress on the counter in a wadded up fashion. Good thing she usually wore wrinkle free dresses. She opened up the door to the bedroom and leaned on the door frame. "Do I look like Absinthe now?"

Amaretto watched as she walked out of his room,knowing that she was going to Absinthe's to get something to wear. He let his eyes fall closed and sat on the edge of the bed with his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands. It had been a long day and he was exhausted but he had to make sure that Suki was comfortable, though he couldn't decide whether it was his older brother side or his more gentlemanly side making him do so. When he heard Absinthe's door close again he pulled his face up from his hands and watched Suki cross his room toward his bathroom holding clothes in her hand. Shaking his head he shifted so he was leaning against the headboard with his body on top of the covers.

His eyes fell shut again for a brief moment until he heard Suki ask if she looked like Absinthe. Opening his eyes he gave her a once over, for the second time that night, and raised his eyebrows. But instead of answering her question the only thing that came out of his mouth was "You're sleeping in that?". His hand came up immediately after he said that to cover his mouth and his face tinted a soft shade of pink. Letting his hand fall back into his lap her closed his eyes and shook his head, mentally chastising himself. "I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. The filter between my brain and my mouth seems to have broken on the way here."

Suki smiled as she noticed how sleepy Amaretto was. She tilted her head slightly and laughed at what he said, looking down at herself. "Well honestly I usually sleep in a night gown, or on the nights that I really don't care, just underwear." She blushed and laughed at herself, covering up her face for just saying that out loud to him. Both of their filters were dead from the day. "Well... You should sleep." She kept her face covered up with her hand, giggling slightly that he was red as well, and walked over to his door to close it and turn the lights off. She squealed slightly at the dark, fisting her hand together in front of her face. You're inside a room, Suki. You're not outside. She closed her eyes to calm herself before coming back over to the bed. She had forgotten about the lace on the shirt though, meaning that her tattoo would be glowing slightly through it now with a dull green and a bright pink.

Amaretto laughed at her blunt statement and nodded, showing that he not only agreed but did the same thing on most occasions. Though sleeping in underwear seemed more risky for a girl than it was for a guy. He decided to cut her a break when she told him he should sleep and simply nodded again, choosing not to comment on her statement. He swung his legs off the bed again before lifting the blankets and sliding them back up onto the bed again, but he chose to stay propped up on the headboard so he could watch her progress. When the lights went out he heard her gasp and sat up straighter in the bed. "Hey, are you alright?" His eyes blindly searched the room and when he saw a soft glow he immediately locked onto it. "What the hell is that?"

Suki sighed out quietly and laughed at herself. "Yes, yes. I'm fine. Dark isn't my favorite thing in the world." She turned herself slightly before squealing again and jumping at what Amaretto said. "Wh-what's what?" She looked around with wide eyes before looking over at him once her eyes adjusted to the dark and she could see him. "P-please don't scare me like that..." She walked over to him slowly and put her hands on the bed, making sure she was stable. She looked down at him with still wide orange eyes.

Somehow hearing her say she was fine mad him relax again, but he still kept his gaze fixed on the glow he saw. Hearing her squeal, no doubt from his outburst, and her scared muttering he obviously didn't see what he did. But as she moved closer the glow moved with her, he followed it's path until he felt the bed tip a little at his side, signaling she was next to him, and saw her wide eyes looking down at him. Tilting his head to get a better look he saw the glow coming from her left shoulder. "You're glowing. Right here." He raised his hand and gently touched her left shoulder, his curiosity getting the better of him at the moment.

Suki tilted her head when he said that she was glowing, slowly remembering her tattoo that was there. She jumped a bit and moved oh so slightly that his hand didn't touch her anymore. When she looked over her shoulder a bit she laughed suddenly and fell onto the ground with her head on the bed in her arms. "Oh my goodness... It's my tattoo." She laughed again and shook her head. "After my..." She paused, knowing he didn't know what she was about to say... "Well, after this incident that happened to me I got this tattoo to protect me... It represents my sister, and well, this incident happened at night and I thought it was a smart idea to get it to be glow in the dark..." She looked up at him and laughed nervously before standing back up. "I'm sorry. Maybe I should have told you about that, but I kind of forgot... Haven't been in the same room as someone else during the night with something that shows off my tattoo in a few years..." She sat on his bed now, beside him and with her back towards him.

He watched her laugh and fall to the ground wondering why she had pulled away. He quietly listened to her vague recounting of her tattoo and smiled. "Well I suppose it's a good thing you got it glow in the dark then. That's a really fun idea actually. Though I'm sure you weren't thinking of the fun aspects of it when you got it from the way you described things." When she sat on the edge of the bed with her back to him he strained his eyes to see the full tattoo and starting at her shoulder he traced it to the middle of her back. "I like it. It's unique. He chuckled and patted her shoulder gently before bringing his hand back to himself. "C'mon. Get tucked in. I think it's high time we called it a night. We can play the get to know each other game tomorrow when I'm actually awake."

Suki laughed slightly and nodded to him. She definitely was not thinking of any fun aspects when she got the tattoo. She stiffed her back slightly when he started to trace the tattoo, only to relax as he went all the way down it. It relaxed her a bit and she sighed, smiling over at him. "Sounds good to me." She brought her legs up onto the bed and quickly went over his waist to get onto the other side of him and slip herself under the blankets like a mini ninja. Her eyes changed back to green, but had a tad bit of brown to them, making them look more hazel like. She looked up at him and yawned, finally realising just how tired she really was. "Night, Amaretto." She smiled to him and closed her eyes, curling herself up into the pillow like she always did, curing her legs up to her chest, and slowly falling to sleep.

Amaretto felt more than saw Suki climb over him and he listened as she got herself situated under the covers. As she was doing so, he scooted down so his head was resting on the pillow and brought his arms behind his head, choosing to sleep on his back tonight. When he heard her tell him goodnight his head turned toward her and he smirked before muttering "Goodnight Suki. Sweet dreams." Letting out a relaxed sigh Amaretto finally let his tired eyes fall shut and he drifted off to sleep not long after.

Absinthe walked up to Amaretto's room and slowly opened it to peek in. Sun was already starting to shine through his huge blinds, making her squint her eyes. When she could see in enough to see the bed her eyes went wide, seeing that he wasn't alone in his bed, and of all people it was her friend Suki. She narrowed her eyes and looked at Suki who had managed to curl herself up on Amaretto's side in the middle of the night and kick off most of her covers, seeing that she was wearing the clothes she had left on the floor to her bedroom. She sighed and leaned on the door frame, knocking in the wall loud enough that she knew she'd wake Amaretto up, not so sure about Suki though. Well I have quite a few questions for them...

Amaretto's eyes blinked open when he heard his door slowly open. Lifting his head up slightly, with every intention on stretching, his tired gaze fell on Suki who was curled up against his side. He let out a breathy chuckle and shook his head, noticing that she had somehow worked herself out from underneath the covers. Hearing a knocking he turned his gaze toward the door and his face broke out into a sleepy smile when he saw Absinthe standing there."Good mornin baby girl." Making sure to keep his voice quite he lifted a hand and waved her over to the bed.

Absinthe watched her brother get up and seeing him only laugh when he saw Suki curled up asleep next to him. She narrowed her eyes slightly at him and pushed herself off the wall, walking over to him. "So what's going on here, hm?" She whispered and gestured toward Suki who was still somehow asleep. "You two have a long night, or something?" She asked him as she got next to the bed, sitting herself gently next to his stomach. She wasn't sure what kind of sleeper Suki was since she had never had any kind of sleep over with her. She looked between the two, pondering as to what they could have been up to last night.

Amaretto let his head fall back onto his pillow and his eyes fell shut. Listening to her ask him about Suki and if hey had a long night his smile just grew. He couldn't place the tone of her voice but he remembered it from the one time he had brought a girl home and Absinthe had met her. The memory of watching his little sister act as though she were his girlfriend toward the girl made him laugh. When he felt the bed next to him dip he wrapped an arm around her stomach and rubbed soothing circles on her side, trying not to tickle her. "We did go to bed late but only because we were talking sweetheart. I offered her my bed, meaning I would sleep on the couch, but she wouldn't hear of it. So we ended up just crashin in here together." He let out a big yawn and opened his eyes again, squinting when the sun made them water.

Absinthe smiled down at her brother when he wrapped his arm around her, remembering how he used to comfort her. Six years apart was bringing them together quite well, she was just afraid how he was going to get along with Blue. She had changed a lot in the last six years. She was a teenager now and had gotten worse than the two of them ever had. She looked over at Suki and tilted her head a bit. "She doesn't like to be alone very much unless she's at her own house and is busy." She replied to let him know why she wouldn't let him, though there could always be other reasons. She took her hand and pushed back some of Suki's hair, smiling a bit. "Are you guys doing anything today for New Years?" She didn't bother to ask anything more about last night, it was their business.

Suki moved a bit when Absinthe pushed her hair out of the way, making her wake up and roll over a bit, feeling that she was pressed up against Amaretto's side. She opened her eyes a bit and looked between the two siblings, a little shocked with Absinthe being in there. Pawing for the covers she had taken off in her sleep because of her wolf instincts, she took them and pulled them over her head, groaning and stretching a bit before sitting up a little bit. "Good morning..." She said in a sleepy voice, rubbing her eyes. Her hair was in messy ringlets all over, way more curlier than usual. "Sorry if I was annoying at all while I slept..." She brought her legs up to her chest and laid her head on her knees so she could look at them and wrap her arms around her legs.

Amaretto nodded as Absinthe told him why Suki hadn't let him sleep on the couch. It was understandable, and he didn't mind being a pillow for a while. He actually missed it. Watching as Absinthe pushed Suki's hair out of her face he let out another yawn and brought the hand that was wrapped around Absinthe back up toward his face so he could rub at his eyes. "We were planning on doing something. Just not sure what that something is yet." Amaretto turned his head toward Suki when he heard her bury herself under the covers and offer a quiet good morning and apologize for being annoying while she slept.{color=red]"Good morning sleepy head. And you were fine, you weren't annoying at all."[/color] He sat up and stretched, turning his gaze back toward Absinthe as he did so. He finally took in what she was wearing and laughed. "Did you forget your shirt somewhere love? Are you picking up more bad habits from me?"

Absinthe watched Suki as she got up and started talking in her sleepy voice. She laughed and smiled at her, tilting her head to look at her face that had been turned on it's side. She moved a bit more into the bed when Amaretto shifted and asked her a question. She glared over at him playfully and stuck her tongue out. "Oh shush. I've done this since I started raves." She poked him in the stomach quickly. "You know in that house no one gave a crap if you were wearing clothes or not." She smiled at all the memories from their family when it was so young. "Just wait until Blue gets back from her wondering off again. You two are going to be going at it, I swear." She realized he would most likely argue that since he saw her when she was only 10 years old last and always wanted to play with the both of them. He was in for a bit surprise.

She got up and stretched again, walking out to to the kitchen. "Suki, I was thinking maybe we should invite your sister and and her boyfriend over, or maybe we could go over to your place and do a big new years party or something. Unless you just want to chill with the both of us for the day." She smiled a bit as she said that all going out into the kitchen, leaving them alone.

Suki looked to Amaretto and smiled, glad that she didn't annoy him at all while she slept. She most likely was passed out once she found the position she wanted to sleep in and stayed that way for the rest of the night. She always slept differently, every night. She pushed the covers off her legs and sat cross legged now, listening to what Absinthe had in mind for New Years Eve and New Year. She blushed a bit from both offers. She wouldn't mind chilling out with just them, but at the same time she'd like to see what Mio and Fubuki were up to. But maybe she didn't want to know. She looked back at Amaretto now. "What do you want to do? I wouldn't mind just chilling out with you two today unless you guys want to go see what Mio and Fubuki are up to." She smiled and leaned back a bit, holding onto her feet while she was cross legged.

Amaretto laughed as Absinthe shushed him and poked his stomach. He had to admit that he missed the playful sibling banter. When he heard what she said about blue though his face got serious and his eyebrows furrowed. Had she really changed that much? Shaking his head he flipped the covers off of his legs and slowly got up. He brought his hands up and stretched hearing some, if not most, of his bones pop. He looked down at Suki when she asked him what he wanted to do and smiled, his thoughts of Blue pushed to the back of his mind for the time being. "I could go for a quiet day with just the 3 of us. But I don't mind if you would like to invite your sister over. He shrugged and wen't toward the blinds so he could open them and let some me light into the room.

Suki made a face as she thought about what to do. She could always spend New Years day with her sister, so that was fine with her instead. She shrugged a bit and stretched her legs out, putting her hands behind her to keep her sitting up, but able to lean a bit. "A quiet day sounds good to me. A fun quiet New Years." She smiled and got up slowly, walking into this bathroom to find her dress so she could put it back on. She closed his door and quickly got it on after getting out of Absinthe's clothes. She stared at herself in the mirror for a moment and then found his hairbrush so she could brush her hair out. After she did she came back out, holding the clothes in her hands and leaning on the door frame like before. "Got any ideas for the day?" She couldn't help but stare at him since he had slept without a shirt on.

Amaretto watched as Suki got out of bed and made he way towards his bathroom. A small smile crossed his face as he took in her now very curly hair, something he obviously hadn't noticed earlier due to being half asleep. When she came out and asked if he had any ideas for today he shrugged and moved back over towards the bed so his back was facing it. "None. Though I should probably go get my clothes from my friend so I can change. We could always go out and do something." He let himself fall backwards onto the bed with a happy sigh and his eyes fell shut again.
